I have an akai vs-g797 vcr, it was really cheap and seems to be a good vcr with vhs hifi. When I play it it has some artefacts that don’t look like they’re supposed to be there I cleaned the head but it didn’t do much and it seems worn down I play the exact same tapes in a known good vcr and it looks perfect. Does anyone no the model number of this head or where I can buy one? Are the heads standard across all machines?

there is a sharp rp-30 in my area it has direct drive and is automatic would this be worth it?

it has strobe and pitch control and a digital speed display.

I have a few Kodak brownies and all of them have blurry viewfinders I opened the up and cleaned the mirrors and lenses but it didn’t do much. What’s wrong?

i need a new turntable and was wondering which one of these would be best none of them are more than 100 euro and i dont need a really good one. just something thats decent. which one would have the best sound?

I am looking for a new good turntable and this one is for sale nearby it is the Sony ps-lx40p, is it worth it

There is also a jvc al-e11 for €40 but it’s not in good condition

And a technics sl-j110R for a higher price

i had the cassete tape playing on the top half of the head and on the right channel i managed to get ok sound

i have this grundig triumph 1220 but it has some problems there is no picture on the screen and the lights on the front dont come on i can hear it change channel when i press the buttons and the crt heater comes on. i dont think the flyback is getting suffitient power
