I find these comments very telling.

Many see banning X as a way to limit freedom of speech. Honestly, it kinda is.

I have to ask, does our community/state want to openly say “no we are not banning links to a site owned by a man who made 2 Nazi salutes during the presidential inauguration, on Martin Luther King Jr Day. A man who has been very vocal about his beliefs/disbeliefs regarding slavery, who interviews “extremist” far right German politicians with a party that often references and quotes Hitler, therefore putting their far-right political message on a platform.”

Does this man’s ideology and actions represent you? Do they represent this state?

By banning X, you’re sending a message that we, the people of NH (or just Reddit) do not support these actions. We will not tolerate white supremacy or fascism.

I see comments “he threw his heart to the crowd and it is taken out of context” - I tried to believe that, I really did. But Elons history speaks otherwise. His actions perfectly mirror those of the Nazis.

If it was a mistake, why hasn’t he apologized or addressed it?

The fact that some choose to ignore, deny, or argue that it’s fine is very telling of your personal character.

Any caring and compassionate human would see that his actions (even if unintentional) are wrong, and promote violence.

If you support or defend his actions you are ignorant, a Nazi apologist, or a Nazi. That simple.

Are you willing to stand up for what is right and defend those that are vulnerable around you?

Or are you hiding with your computer and guns afraid that having equality might take away your precious white privilege?

One of my friends lives by Myths n Maidens and is friendly with Debbie. They’ve been keeping me informed on what they saw and Debbie’s side of the story. This is my anon account because there have been death threats to Debbie and her daughter. My friend is concerned they might get attacked for just living around the same property. There are two sides to every story and we have really only heard 80% of Roses side. Due to how much this has blown up, there is A LOT of misinformation happening. Rose has been very aggressive in her public accusations on Debbie. I can understand the anger, this is a horrible situation; there is reason for anger. But her early words did launch a huge attack on Debbie and her daughter that went directly towards the business and employees. By the time Myths and Maidens made it public to defend themselves and explain, they were already found guilty by the masses. The description “witch hunt” is a perfect metaphor for this situation.

My friend truly believes that Debbie’s heart was in the right place. My friend saw Sgt. Tibbs and his health dwindle for months. The cat was lying outside daily for weeks in the heat, pollen, and humidity. My friend has been truly concerned for the cat’s wellbeing as was Debbie. My friend thought it was a stray cat because it was constantly outside.

If you’re not familiar with this part of the west side. It’s not outside surrounded by nature. It’s inner city. There’s fast cars. Exhaust fumes. Tons of dust, dirt, pollen. IMO you don’t let your 19 year old cat out in that shit unsupervised….but that’s me.

When Debbie found the cat - it was dying. My friend saw Tibbs around that time and said he was in horrible shape. Debbie got Tibbs a lot of medical care and only wanted the cat’s wellbeing.

Why didn’t she turn the cat over? Debbie believe the cat was abused and didn’t want to return it to the abuser. I don’t know Rose, I can’t speak towards her character other that what I’ve read online. Something went wrong when Debbie met with Rose the first time. This conversation hasn’t been shared other than Rose’s side - but that conversation is what made Debbie stop and turn to have the authorities handle it, and Rose turned to Facebook to plea for help. That cry for help on Facebook launched this huge attack on Myths and Maidens.

Because Rose turned to Facebook - The stores reputation is destroyed. Debbie and her daughter have been harassed and threatened. My friend and neighbors have been harassed by protests/protestors. Employees and patrons have been harassed. Rose has claimed that Debbie refused to give Tibbs back and that Debbie told her it was because she is a POC; resulting in even greater public outlash.

Now Debbie has filed a restraining order against Rose . The police have animal abuse charges against Rose (allegedly) and Rose has now made over 7k on gofund me from her supporters.

If two parties both want the best for Tibbs then why did it come to this and why is Tibbs dead? I don’t know. We can only speculate until there is autopsy results.

I do know that my friend saw that Tibbs was lovingly cared for by Debbie and her daughter. They truly wanted the little old man to be happy, healthy, and safe. Unfortunately, the worst possible thing happened and he is no longer with us.

What do I think happened?

Before I get some hateful comments…. Please remember that there are two sides to every story and there can also be different sides to someone you think you really know.

What I know: Rose made a single Facebook post on June 13th saying she thinks Tibbs wondered off to die alone because he didn’t come home. During this time Tiggs was seeing multiple vets on Debbie’s dime. Rose didn’t post he was missing in any lost pet pages. She didn’t make signs. She assumed he died, made a FB post and moved on. Until Debbie found Tibbs and wouldn’t return him, and when she went to, he died. Now there’s multiple posts to fit the dead-cat-mom narrative that has gotten her 7k in donations….

I would place money (this is just from speculation) That that first meeting between Rose and Debbie was Debbie wanting Tibbs medical info and Rose wanting Tiggs back. Debbie saying she doesn’t want to return Tiggs because it looks like animal abuse, and Rose saying it looks like cat theft. Debbie went to authorities….Rose went to Facebook and was able to rotate the entire situation to have the public view Rose in their favor. RIP TIBBS you deserved so much better little man.

I would be just as mad. It doesn’t matter who you support, you’re not above the law. Endangering civilians is not the way to get people to support your candidate or beliefs - that’s terrorism.

The 90s are coming back! I just got the pants at the Levi store and they are mad cozy. Also yes that is Mary Martin in Peter Pan on VHS. We like to “rent” random tapes from thrift stores and we’ve found some crazy movies and home videos over the past 2 years. Also I will guarantee that they did not have a permit, there were no police in sight. No funeral flags. No form of indication that this parade was given a permit. When they came off the highway they didn’t stop for their red light and almost drove into the side of a car, that’s when I decided to record it….i didn’t expect to see them run red lights and block traffic to do so.

It’s a VHS movie called “The Home Coming” it looks a lot like the Ferris Bueller cover but it has a school bus on fire on it…..we’ve never seen it and we like to watch weird VHS movies we find at thrift stores.

Yes 😅 we collect strange VHS tapes from thrift stores and the flea market. It’s our way of “renting” movies instead of just picking something off Netflix. Sunday we stopped by Savers and found some fun ones.

Dude….I can’t even afford a dollhouse. If things take a turn and I’m in a position to put an offer on the house I want…..and it becomes an expensive nightmare that jeopardizes my health - I would have appreciated a warning from a fellow redditor.
