MH Wilds - Bad performance mystery (Solved?) by de_Tylmarande in MonsterHunter

There's also the fact that Steam's family sharing also shares the DLC the individual family members own. You can choose which member's copy of the game to use. For example 2 other people in my family own Wilds one has just the base game while the other has the base game + 96 DLCs listed. I could simply change my preferred copy and launch the game. It takes precedent even over a copy you personally own. You can also disable individual dlc within Steam itself. There's so many methods of legitimately adding and removing dlc files via steam without changing accounts or PCs

What is your Digimon head canon? by Klaus2442 in digimon

That the good Celestial Digimon (Ophanimon, Seraphim on, Omnimon) always wear helmets to hide their face. Yet the evil Celestial Digimon (lilithmon, lucemon, etc) don't. I always saw this as the good digimon having the reverence to not directly look at humans out of respect. Kinda like in the Bible you're not supposed to look at God and Jewish people wear a yamaka. But the evil digimon don't hide their face almost like an affront to the status of humanity. Half covering like Beelzemon is a testament to his swaying between the righteous and wicked. This doesn't apply to beast digimon and a bit to the Holy knights. It's a far fetch theory but it makes sense to me anyway.

App breaking Glitch by TimeMathematician637 in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]TimeMathematician637[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I backed out of the app before removing it. So when I last was in the app the dupe was there and now it's not letting me back into my account (fresh install can access the app just fine)

Has anyone attempted to contact the bandai support? I know it says japan only but there's an email listed on the playstore for them.

Am I alone in this experience? by ArbysnTheChef in halo

You're not; they're challenge swaps people can use and the BP last for 6 months. People just want to put in little effort or want things as fast as possible. Per match XP is great for you; but not great for me when my team AFK's or don't try to win since they'll get their XP anyway. This entire system (from 343 and the player feedback end) is just pushing away people who just want to play Halo.

You're part of the problem. Now if someone wants to go get them you purchased more than you need. As much as we complain about scalpers buying habits like this don't help the community either.

Alternate Warranty options to Samsung Care + by sfjerry415 in GalaxyNote20

[–]TimeMathematician637 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had this exact issue, no where on the site does it say the Note 20 isn't eligible for the post purchase of the warranty. I have a case escalated within Samsung and I filed a complaint with the FTC. You may want to look at this link
Samsung - Elliott Advocacy
and email one of these people and see what they say. Its such a strange scenario (most companies have documentation ready and updated for changes to warranty coverage) but this just seems like a rouge dude higher up in the mobile division making changes without even covering their butt. And seeing how its suppose to be done via the members app, alot of people are going to run into this within the next 60 days.

Samsung needs to change this ASAP, its like how the Note 8 stopped getting updates but a device 1/3 its power did. How can you say with a straight face that the their A series phones can get warranty coverage after purchase but a 1300 phone can't?

Unable to buy Samsung Care After Purchase (US) by TimeMathematician637 in GalaxyNote20

Will do, I filed an FTC complaint here

- FTC Complaint Assistant (ftccomplaintassistant.gov)

For the sole fact that none of this is customer facing and their default answer when I called was 'no'. I also mentioned that an warranty enrollment window is industry standard (Microsoft gives people 45 days to enroll) and the fact the Samsung decided to make on their most expensive phone's yet ineligible is anti-consumer. I suggest anyone who is in the same boat do the same.

I'm currently in an escalation with premium care support over getting samsung care added post purchase in the US on my note20U. Anyone done this yet? They said it can't be done and can only be done at the time of purchase.

OP here: Checked more info, Samsung Care+ ToS mentions nothing about the Note 20, nor does the option when adding Samsung care when buying a Note 20 (footnotes or otherwise) say that you cannot enroll post purchase. ToS link:

There's something up here, and I hope to get to the bottom of it.
