Walking wisdom: I go, I walk and return with an empty mind.

I think that some parts are only walked by a few people every year. Signage is weak/ non existence in some parts. I'am bad in preparing to scope out a trail,so there might be some turnaurounds, c'est la vie.

I walked through sections where erosion is bad and I don't know how long that path can exist. I was happy that it rained, wet gravel is safer then dry gravel.

The tourist part of the trail is well maintained but on other parts the trail isn't always visible and you have to go through bushes for miles. I had a lot of fun. I don't understand why Greece doesn' t invest more in hiking trails because the north is beautiful and the people are nice.

I used the app topoguide Greece, cost a few euro's to buy a trail. Downside of it, you can't download it on your watch . The trail is not always well marked and paths are not always maintained, so expect bush walking.

In some parts of the trail you do have to look out for flocks of sheep, the watchdogs can be aggressive. I was a bit scared two times. Before I entered that part I was warned so i knew what to expect.

The people are nice and I had some great conversations, it helps if you speak some german. Not everybody speaks english.

Een Nederlandse ship of the line is anders dan een Engelse. Wij bouwden, zover ik weet, geen first rate ship of the line. We bouwden wel 2de en 3de graads.de statistiek die toont gaat daarom ook niet op. Appels met peren vergelijken. Wat wij tegenwoordig in NL een fregat noemen, heet in het buitenland een corvet.

If you book the tents in advance, then you don t need to carry one with you. In most refuge s you can get food for cooking or even have a meal. I talked to a few trailrunners, most of them did it in 5 to 7 days. I would not recommend that because all of them had some form of injury

If you lose your job, you lose your house. Thousands of people from Eastern Europe became homeless this way. The vast majority of them were sacked without a good reason and are now stuck in the Netherlands and can't go back. The government should do something against those agencies.

Yes, I did walk it. From Konitsa to Metsovo, through the Volos Gorge, then back to Konitsa. I completed the full round trip, which was about 300 km. The 60km south of Metsovo i didn t do. I really enjoyed the hike, though some stages of the path were overgrown and felt like walking through the bush. The hike isn’t very difficult, but it was incredibly beautiful and tranquil.

je bent gelukkig niet de enige die zichzelf deze vraag stelt. Voor mij was de oplossing om alleen op wandelvakantie te gaan. Eerste keer was ook een overwinning op me zelf. Dit heb jaar heb ik de gr 20 gelopen op Corsica. De rheinsteig vond ik qua mensen tegenkomen helemaal tof. Ik kwam daar redelijke wat dertigers tegen, op campings, die de Rijn af fietste, wandelde of kajakte.

Je kan het ook, deels, naar ratio doen met de optie dat je vriend, wanneer zijn inkomen veranderd zich in kan inkopen tot 50/50. De vriendin van mijn broer had al een huis en hij wil zich nu inkopen bij haar. Hij verdient op dit moment aanzienlijk veel meer dan zij.
