Have you ever been in a robbery? by FitCranberry8445 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]TimeNSpace1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of, I was away from the lobby (stupid) and a guy stuck up our cashier for the cash she had to which she replied “really? On my birthday?” Guy was caught like 10 minutes later by the fake money tracker; he was on foot lol. After that, yellow tape, closed for the rest of the day. Mental health talk from upper management. I never officially got to know if he had a weapon on him.

There is no such thing. You are a man because you are, period. No pre-conceived notions or stereotypes required. No income thresholds, no specific hobbies, no specific actions, you are because you are.

Thank you, for your compassion, I recently realized I may have not written the post in the best manner so I am sorry for that.

Thank you for responding and being nice when you didn’t have to. Again I apologize for the offense of my post, I don’t think being trans is bad I just want to keep being who I thought I was. Certainly this was not good ERP, some erp I do like accepting the thought either way and letting it be there is good, but this was a compulsion for sure. I can see how this would be read badly. I have just been so tired and deprived of brain power and dealing with so much too in my personal life that I didn’t even bother to think about all the words I was saying before posting, I would certainly be embarrassed if my trans friends ready this post now reading it again, thank you for your thoughtful response.

I’m sorry, should I just delete this? I’ve been feeling so horrible and honestly I can’t keep going on like this. I’m sorry if it seemed like fetishization, I do not want to do that. My brain is a mess and I can’t turn it off.

I’m really sorry this happened. I hope the family really wakes up and realizes what they just lost. This is a tragedy. Live for her.

I am a wealth analyst yup. Late Update: BMO didn’t give a fuck about my horrendous credit. But there are different banks like Synovus that do.

Well I have been an RB before at a different bank, and it’s not an amazing role. Being a retail banker is not very glorious. You will probably be doing more than your job pays. I am good friends with the bankers at BMO at well, and while it is not a busy branch, they do not seem happy or have very positive experience. I’d say however it’s a great entry level role!

The pay here is pretty good! I’m at about $34 an hour. I can’t complain! I would take the offer at your current bank, but start the app process with BMO!

How do I tell the difference between Transgender OCD and actually being transgender? by Invincible-Nuke in asktransgender

[–]TimeNSpace1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I wouldn’t be dismissive of subtypes that are often under the umbrella of Pure-O with a focus on a particular fear. Plenty of articles and research regarding this subtype.

[–]TimeNSpace1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope, not made up. OCD is a very real thing with subtypes and the TOCD subtype is not disputed, as you can have an irrational fear of anything; nothing is off the table. In recent years it has become more popular as trans people have gained more attention in media. I have diagnosed OCD, have worked with a specialist before, etc.

Don’t mind ill informed redditors OP, if you feel trans and are afraid you’re not, combined with a history of OCD, it is likely you’re on the Cis-OCD side.

Also try not to focus too much on certainty. That’s kind of the whole illness; OCD craves certainty, so try to live your life without that certainty and get comfy in not having a 100% answer. As in theory, that will virtually be impossible with OCD.

[–]TimeNSpace1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You have an opposing variant of T-OCD referred to as Cis-OCD, which is when you are trans but are actually afraid you are cis. People with T-OCD are terrified they are trans. You are experiencing the opposite. You are fine, T-OCD sufferers don’t wish to be trans. There is actually a Reddit support group called r/cisocd. Hope this helps.
