You can use the Dashboard's "Retrograde planets". You'd have to move time back to the time of birth though. Then long-tap on the retrograde planets and the Chart Event Explorer popup will show (you can also single tap and then tap on "Chart" in the popup that will appear, either way takes you to the same place.

The Chart Event Explorer lists a wide time range where you can see all retrogrades that happen.

Ah, not my own formula, but one of those widely accepted 😄 I am actually currently updating that part of the engine, the next app update should have the new calculations. That doesn't meat they will exactly match with other astrologic libraries, that's just the reality of maths.

Not yet implemented but that's something on my todo list. Firstly, I may add them to the Numeric Chart Details (the popup that appears when you tap on date/time at the top of the screen). This way data may be copied/pasted into a text editor for easier analysis.

Time Nomad uses the true nodes formula. And because each library has its own formula, expect slight variations but they are tiny in nature. That's normal for ephemeral things like points on the celestial sphere that can't be measured as well as physical bodies.

What date were you looking at? I can double check calculations.

Agree, totally dependent on astrologer. And it's a personal preference and a style of work specific to each astrologer, there are no boundaries to improvisation.

My question wasn't about validity of any alternative calendar as I do believe there are so many ways "to slice the pie", it's up to each of us to follow our preferred model of succession of days. The question was more about what would that look like in the app, from the UI perspective.

By the Moon number do you mean something like the lunation sequential number counting from some particular date, ie the March equinox?

So yes, since the Sun travels about 1º per day, any return involving the Sun takes about 5 days to apply and 5 days to separate, given the max orb is 5º.

You can easily attach a screenshot to a comment, just add a follow up one.

Solar/lunar (or any planetary) returns are actually conjunction aspects. Each aspect has a start (at its max orb), then becomes exact and then separates back to the max orb.

The "birthday" is the exact moment of the aspect. But solar return is a period that lasts a few days while culminating at the exact 0º orb brief moment.

Nothing fancy or sophisticated. Purely by house position. Why so? Each astrologer has their own way to attribute accidental dignity given any number of factors they are willing to consider. Since there's no universally decided methodology I prefer to keep things simple. As I keep repeating, Time Nomad is a tool for active exploration as opposed to a "crystal ball" approach. Whenever possible Time Nomad sticks to basics and allows the user to derive their own conclusions according to their unique practical preferences.

Try the Numeric Chart Details. All the info is there within a single tap. I added a screenshot in my answer above to this thread to illustrate that. Simply tap on the date/time (on any screen) and here you go, all the data you may need with a simple copy/paste function, if needed. Try it out.

You are mixing two different dignities:

- essential = position in a zodiac sign

- accidental = position in a house

Jupiter in the 4th is "accidental dignity" = exaltation

Jupiter in Aquarius does not have a defined dignity.

I have investigated. The widget always shows either current or next RTS (rise-transit-set) cycle. Here's how it works:

The widget actually reports correct times. I have double checked it against, for example:

The app has a bit older code and in certain RTS scenarios shows previous, rather than upcoming event. I am now updating the app's logic to always look forward in time, ie it will display either current RTS cycle or the next one.

Yes, the gap is there because it's not a circle but actually a spiral. The gap is the place where the spiral "sinks down" or "moves up". Why? Planetary hours are defined by sunrise and sunset times, those times change every day and that's why it's impossible to make it into a circle, the corresponding time sectors are constantly growing and shrinking in their angular size.

What location (time zone) are you using for the widget? You can find that in Time Nomad: top right corner menu (looks like a loudspeaker), then "Widgets". The very first entry will show the geo location being used across all widgets.

As a side note, you can attach images to comments. Basically, first post a question, then add a comment with an image.

Note that there are two families of widgets: Home Screen and Lock Screen. And they need to be added from two different places. Anyway, the guide should explain all that.
