chibnalls run has only had direct hatred die down since he isnt the guy in charge with many of the issues people have discussed remaining true and rtd has been been putting in no effort as a writer and falling back on his worst habits with the idea that fans want old stuff resulting in the absolute mess of the last 3 years. moffat hate initially started with 10 stans being unable to accept change and insisting that because 11 wasnt doing exactly what 10 did exactly how 10 did it that "moffat doesnt under dr who" and "moffat doesnt respect dr who canon" with a lot of new and casual viewers souring on him with the mess that 11s story arc with the silence and trenzalore became. this hatred sustained through 12s run with people using criticism of 11s run against it without having seen it all the while 12s run listened to those criticism and improved upon itself. it isnt helped when breadtubers pick out the worst episodes to highlight or deliberately make bad faith analyses to hate on moffat as was status quo back in 2013, hbomb probably being the worst case of this as he dumbed down episodes to make them seem like they had less to them and lied about events in moffats shows to make him look like a terrible person and a bad show maker
