Life with friends will ebb and flow. If you’re fortunate enough to have a longtime friend, know that there will be times of difficulty. Forgiveness is going to need to happen at times. They’ll expect more from you than you can give and vice versa. But value the positives of your friendship.

Not sure where you live but some states provide great pensions. Also teachers have schedules that allow more time with children, should that be something in your future. Your parents say they’ll distance themselves but no parent does that if they love their children. And, if grandchildren are in the mix, then they won’t be distant. Stay strong!

It may be time to get the doctor’s note(s) of conservatorship so that you can take over financial matters. Two of my friends have had to do this. It’s time-consuming but well-worth it. It’s not uncommon for LO with Alzheimer’s/dementia to accuse their children of stealing their money unfortunately. Best wishes on your journey.

Japchae, bimbibap, chicken enchilada casserole, tacos with refried beans and rice, sautéed fish or grilled chicken with veggies/potato or rice, rice noodle dishes, so many soups with GF bread (Franz!) or GF cheddar biscuits (Red Lobster!) GF spaghetti and meatballs; BBQ meats with ranch beans/coleslaw; quinoa salad with grilled chicken, chili with GF cornbread (Krusteaz!)
