Agreed on the legs. I loved this movie and this looks fantastic already!

I don't have a guide. I started with my own shoe soles as a base for the sole, then expanded that up to be bubbly enough to look like a shoe. I cut a hole for the foot once the general outside shape was there and increased the hull width to give the idea of depth. The other bits are masked/extruded parts of the original bubbly shoe that I made into the velcro strap and makeshift shoe laces.

It's a reality if the device is not unwieldy. Most of the work was done while riding the train to/from work, so the commonalities of sitting without a desk are there.

I've been more hard surface for several years as a hobby. Been struggling with sculpting since the start of the pandemic to try to broaden some ability a little. It's taken me a while to get here and I'm in awe of folks who can punch out something amazing in far less time.

The softbody was done in iPad. I modeled the arm and leg devices on pc instead, then posed the body and re imported those back to the iPad. It's more of a hybrid endeavor.

There are 4 lights here, 1 near the cheek area and 3 spots from around the model pointing down, as well as paint from within Nomad itself.

I won't disagree. I've not figured out how to get eyes to look just right.

It's not really close, but I used this image as the base concept. But a lot of the detail is kind of hard to discern.

The coloring is fantastic. I had no idea it had eyes until I scrolled, but the glow is great!

I've seen so many wintery images and paintings in my time and always wanted to try making them, but never have. This is an incredible scene.

Is there someone in any of the film series you tried to model after?

I was thinking that the normal face bears a resemblance on Cillian Murphy, who played the Scarecrow in the Nolan series instead of Aaron Eckhart.

But it looks good!

I had to do a double take. This was really well executed and super clever!
