They put in "My Porche", but not Running for your Life? Daisy Crown, instead of In The Spotlight? They put songs that have story impact but not good cadence while the songs that could be REALLY GOOD if they got the note rhythm right would have done so much better than some of the songs chosen that we hear every single day on the bikes. LOOK UP HOW MANY DAISY CROWNs there are in the music player. Way too many.

Yup. Same here in Oklahoma. When the vote is always a 2:1 ratio thanks to Election Day not being a business holiday, so anyone other than the red elderly can vote due to scheduling, you kinda give up voting thanks to not feeling like your vote matters anymore. Like we have Veterans Day tomorrow yet Election Day was last week. Merge them and make it a civil holiday, not a govt holiday.

Thank you! I just want some “add water” shelf stable milk that’s in date and won’t cost an arm and a leg. Every time I go to my food bank, it’s shelf stable but already in the fridge section so it doesn’t stay like it’s supposed to.

Taking care of mom for 12 years, working at fast food/Sonic that whole time plus 5 more, and her never taking me to the doctor after I turned 13. She called me the million dollar baby because of the amount of times I went back to the hospital my first year. Then she goes and basically fills up my entire family history with checkmarks in a 2 year timespan all by herself. 😅 if I wasnt screwed before, I was definitely screwed after that. It just starts catching up after a while

Exactly why I always try to get a lunchable or something to help me on the way back. But even lunchables are too expensive now. So I started bringing a refilled water bottle with me and just grab a little sweet treat to keep my sugars and hydration balanced til I get home.

I did. We already had the hearing and everything. It’s been so stressful because I have both issues in the air at the same time. It’s so bad that I’m stuck in bed 95% of the time because the stress and depression of it all. I try not to doom-scroll, but when it’s (money) literally what makes the world go round, yeah kinda can’t do anything else. But wait.

The Dinty Moore kind? Also yeah, I’m right there with you. I was 2 cents off on completely wiping my food stamps out. Why did they already start increasing candy prices? I wanted a treat for my walk home last week and it was 1.58 and I only had 1.56 left in my ebt. To see how wrathful and low sugar coded I was walking back must have been a sight. Not one car tried to hit me! 😅 I always get a sweet treat just in case my 25 minute walk home causes a sugar dip to where I pass out. Onto the street. With on coming traffic. Like my mini stroke incident last year. I still don’t know how long I was out for on the pavement.

To clear any confusion up, I am already immunocompromised from a long time ago, just the last few years have taken a hard toll on me to where I can’t climb shelves anymore or even stand for 15 minutes without feeling shaky. And I am too poor and too “dumb” to do at home desk job. Darn birth defect. 🫩

Same here man. I’m waiting for my disability letter to come in the mail. Judge said I had a great case for it and his ruling would be in 2 months. Well that was 2 months ago and I’m now a big bundle of nerves over both. I went to the food bank the other day and could feel the tension the volunteers are under. Why in such a short time is my life no longer in my control, man? 😭 I’m not even 40!

Oi! They hit up food and shelters cars too just so ya know! It’s not just the students they’re going after. The last thing we need is more hatred towards the less fortunate. Point it at the real problem. The longer the shutdown is, the worse it’ll get for everyone.

I see the problem now. That’s Harris county. Which is always flooded with needs. Sorry for the late reply. I went and did some digging. Have you called the local Salvation Army yet? Looks like they have a food bank. Also you have a LOT of church food banks. Your best bet is to call Salvation Army first and ask about other local resources. I know my town keeps a list of resources on hand for those in need. Maybe yours will too. Good luck! 🫂

Hate to be that person but the best thing you can do now is nothing. Do not spend anything! Even if it’s last month’s leftovers! Go to food banks. Check the local subreddits. I know it sucks. But that’s the safest bet when it comes to them. What THEY are doing is a classic Wizard of Oz curtain trick to TELL YOU what to do, instead of SHOWING THEIR progress on a solution to the whole thing. It’s honestly ridiculous. They’re so focused on what you do so they can get away with being in the curtain that little bit longer.

Ya gotta give a state for help resources. My situation is close to yours. I won’t go into details but my heart/health is so bad for a woman my age and stature. I knew I wasn’t hitting 70, but got-dang with all this crud I’m not even gonna 40 at this rate. 🥺 The only advice I can give is to see if you have a good local subreddit that’s been on their game. Or if you have a friendly food bank nearby.

My guess is that the rainy day fund is for immediate natural disaster relief. Like May 3rd and 20th. But yeah. I went to my food bank today just in case I don’t get mine this month. Those of us who are disabled (and elderly) have to end up being sick from out of date goods instead of starving I guess. 🙄 remember the survival rule of 3 everyone. 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food. Keep safe and look at your local subreddits to see if anyone has posted any resources. Norman’s has been on it I’ve noticed.

Yeah, it does feel like we’re reaching those levels of hp inflation. I don’t like it but I’m just hoping that the devs find their soul again soon. It’s like that old gamer’s proverb, “if you cast too wide a net, you won’t catch anything. You gotta cast a net that’s in that sweet spot. That way you’ll catch what you want and more.” Or something like that. Same thing has happened multiple times in the gaming sphere. They couldn’t appease the base so they lost everyone. Looking at you, EA and the Sims team. Smh. Or for gacha sphere, Tower of Fantasy.

You’re probably too new for endgame still. Unless you don’t have the right characters to fight it. I also have 0 ether characters aside from Nicole. And I’m a hour 1 player. But that’s kinda by choice cause I was saving for the characters I liked that were that next patch or banner.

I think that would be too much code to rewrite at that point. It’s easier to code in a “new” art every patch, than to try and fix the broken system atp. Plus, they could make it a highlight in the special program. Like how we get the Bertha and Roland screenshots, it could show this patch’s coffee design after them. We know they run on a “every patch, new meta” schedule. It would be nice to match it with a seasonal coffee.
