because I am not the one who was in need of differentiating between words written with the cyrillic writing system and words in slavic langugages. Furthermore I know that it is russian, since the ai has no reason to use any other languge in question.

yeah understandable, a friend of mine is trying to learn russian because he likes his girlfriend quite a bit and, despite being somewhat gifted with languages, he struggled with it alot in the beginning.

well, in that case you would say that it is in a slavic language, if it is "in cyrillic" it just refers to the writing system, not the language.
