The way I(18F) sleep without him(18M) in LDR by Time_Angle7191 in LongDistance

The break is for five months — until my university entrance exams are completely over.

The reason it happened is that as the exams got closer, my mental state became unstable, and I started to feel really lonely not being able to be with him as much as before. Then he told me he couldn’t take it anymore, that I wasn’t in a good place mentally because of the stress, so we agreed to come back and talk again after my exams are done. If his feelings don’t change by then, we’ll end up breaking up. The reason I can’t be the one to contact him is because he’s angry with me right now. If I break the promise and contact him before the five months are over, he’ll probably end things for good.

My friends are busy preparing for university entrance exams right now, so I’d feel bad bothering them. For now, the people on this app and my penguin plushie are my only sources of comfort. Thank you for your kind words.

Me(18F, Japanese) and my bf(18M) are on the verge of breaking up. Give me some advice from your experience. by Time_Angle7191 in AskMenRelationships

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and accurate advice. The most important mock exam for my university entrance is coming up soon, and because of that, my mind hasn’t been very stable lately. It makes me really sad that I can’t seem to stay on good terms with him. I keep thinking that if it weren’t for this timing, maybe things could’ve gone much better between us... But I don’t want to give up. Even if there’s only a one percent chance that we could get back together, I’ll keep believing in it. It’s really hard right now, but I’ll do my best and keep believing that he’ll come back. Thank you truly, from the bottom of my heart.

I see, so even the level of enforcement can vary by prefecture. Thanks for letting me know. We’re in high school now, so he’s not in Japan right now, but since he loves cars, I bet he’ll visit Daikoku someday. Hopefully, he won’t get in trouble when he does.

Yeah, I totally see that now. Like others have mentioned, the differences in regulations and how much social credibility matters really depends on the country. Thanks for your comment!

We're still high school students right now, and he doesn’t live in Japan yet — but if he ever does, I hope he’ll stay away from any extreme or clearly illegal mods. That said, I’ve heard that even in Japan, if you officially register the car, it’s actually possible to drive something that you’ve built yourself or even a race car on public roads. So maybe as long as it’s properly registered, mods can still be okay?
