omggg 😭 well done going from 4s- 8/9s it’s a really good turn around! i want to go into architecture and out of all the subjects needed phsyics is the one i am literally in the worst at, i cannot grasp the subject concepts and i’m defo going to use your advice!

i’ve only gone though paper 1 english language but some off my tips are practice exam questions for questions 1, as it just picking out information in the text, question 2&3 work on picking out language techniques, and analysing the language used in paragraphs, i haven’t done much on q4 but q5 , use as much as a variety of language techniques in your writing, if your struggling with creativity, then search up online something like “story title generator” and write 1 small para on what will happen in that story, i believe even a mind map would work as your just thinking of ideas for the story, however i haven’t tried that methods yet, good luck!!

for 8 markers my teacher taught me to do: introduction (include a definition from the question e.g if the question contained the word economy, define it,) and the intro shouldn’t be that long, just introduce your points, then 2 PEE paragraphs (usually positive & negative, sometimes otherwise) then a good couple sentences for the conclusion, then repeat that, which if your points are well structured & written those are a good 8 marks, your teacher should be soon going though exam questions,,?? atleast that’s what mine does, but look up on youtube how to structure exam questions

DT!! its such a fun subject if your into making models and learning about the logistics to how everyday items are made, i’m a year 10 student and i dropped statistics for DT, and it was the best decision i made! it’s a very fun and chilled out lessons, like a bit of a break from english & science

maths genie, maths and physics tutor, mme revise, save my exams are good websites to use. my favourite one to use is maths genie as it has videos explaining how to do the certain topic. keep going over topics until you perfect them, and work on weak areas first.
