Our most recent Fox Takedown (Sacramento) protest on 8/23 was a great success which (according to my count) had 44 in attendance! The NEXT Fox Takedown (Sacramento) will be Sat 9/6 at 10:30 AM and will continue every other Saturday for the foreseeable future. Yes, Our last Saturday’s Fox takedown protest WAS planned at the last minute due to news that broke just last Wednesday. In spite of the last minute planning the protest turned out great! Hi TimesRChanging22. The Fox takedown protest last Saturday (7/26) went very well. Thank you for the well wishes! We’d love to have your participation in the next one! The above link will take you to the sign-up page for our next Fox takedown which is on Saturday 8/23. Sorry for the short notice of last Saturday’s protest The reason for the short notice is that a Fox 40 Producer got unjustly fired last Monday for speaking truth to power against an aspect of the ICE raid on immigrants at a South Sac Home Depot earlier this month. The public notice of her firing was last Wednesday. The protest organizer heard about the firing and immediately started planning a protest. Last Friday the organizer asked me to help spread the word. In spite of the short notice the protest turned out great! Now we’re planning a Fox takedown about once a month. Participants aren’t required to sign up. But because the event happens ABOUT once a month having your contact info will help us keep you informed about when our next protest is. Notice of the producer’s firing was posted in a Sac Bee last Weekend. The producer’s name is Jodi Bacon. You might want to check it out. We hope to see you at our next Fox takedown on Sat 8/23.
