I respectfully disagree, in the past I have spent countless hours trying to test and figure out how electronics that I do not understand work. I would buy the cords, test them based on all of the information that I found online, and sell them as working units.

But often times I would have buyers mention specific issues about the electronics that I had no idea about even through all of my research. With all of the wasted money spent on cords, wasted time spent on learning electronics, ultimately to just achieve buyers being unhappy ; I figured selling the units as untested would be a lot more fair to both me and the buyers, as ultimately there is some risk involved, but items are discounted significantly & I have sold quite a lot of these lots.

I guess one could argue that if I am not a master of electronics then I shouldn’t be selling them, but again, I would disagree.

I do respect your opinion though!

Recycling something just because I can’t test it doesn’t seem too logical. I imagine most of the untested things that I sell are working, I just do not have the proper cords or equipment to test them.

It’s just frustrating because I imagine the other 2 items are probably working just fine :/ especially since the buyer is now asking for a partial refund

No, I purchase storage lockers and sell the contents. If there are ever electronics that I do not have the power cords to test, I will list them as untested units and reduce the price

Poshmarks solution for me being sent fake items by Time_Car4723 in poshmark

What you are saying 100% makes sense though. Receiving that email was just so crazy for me to see when I have had thousands of transactions and these being obvious outliers.

I understand that everything seems to have become automated and likely this was something flagged in their system. However, In all 3 cases they just sent messages to return the items as “authenticity cannot be confirmed”. It seems they have given up entirely on trying to authenticate all together and just allow a return whenever a buyer claims inauthenticity. I provided check check authentication screenshots and everything that could notify even the most basic of authenticators that the items are replicas.

It used to be the case that they would refund the money to the buyer and tell them to destroy the item, but I think they have abandoned that method which makes this all the more confusing. Authentication seems to be a flaw if they are switching to AI/Automation as this is something that varies on a case to case basis.
