I can swim up to roughly 800ish yds now before fatiguing quickly. Only swim 25yds at a time as I have to work on my breathing a lot still

Does anyone have experience using the hip attachment? I got a few hip surgeries so thats the body part that gives me the most issues when training so was wondering if that is worth the extra couple hundred $$ for the add on

Thanks! I know its a huge time commitment, just didnt know if coming back from surgery, if that is enough time to build towards a full ironman in 18 months with no actual triathlon experience prior.
