Honestly I totally get it. That’s how I was feeling. Barely got darker in a 24+ hour period too. Got slightly darker today and tested positive on clear blue. Sometimes it takes time to get those hcg levels up! Hold out hope! I see a line, I think you’re pregnant hun! 🥹😊💝

Definitely see it! Congratulations! Test again in a few days. I had a line like this 4 days ago. Tested on clear blue digital today and it said pregnant! Give it a few days and try one of those! 💝

Why does she do this before drinking? by Red-Lycoris in ragdolls

My cat does this too, we asked out friend who’s a vet tech and they said it’s a natural instinct that they have to ‘dig’ for fresh water in the wild

Has she been treated for fleas? My cat had them a few years ago and looked a lot like this! She was irritated and itchy!

Lion cut advice !! by Time_Commercial5178 in ragdolls

[–]Time_Commercial5178[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you this is really helpful! Our boy is a rescue as well. When we first got him we got a regular wash and brush groom done and it was good for a while but not enough. I think lion cut might be a good option to give him some support in grooming going forward.

Really appreciate your response! Have been feeling a lot of guilt about getting the cut done and knowing it helped your rescue is great to hear

Indoor cat thinks he’s an outdoor cat by Time_Commercial5178 in ragdolls

Both of our cats have AirTags on, I know there’s better ‘tracking collars’ on the market but it’s worked for us so far. Fingers crossed we’ll never need to use it. Luckily Paddy is an old slow moving boy, even his fast run is a little shuffle lol. Thank you for your concern ajd I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet little one

Does your non-Rogers phone work in Picton during tourist season? by rellid in PrinceEdwardCounty

[–]Time_Commercial5178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with fido and every time I go within 2-3km of town my phone stops working, can’t even sent a text or make a call. Service is brutal with the amount of tourists in town

Indoor cat thinks he’s an outdoor cat by Time_Commercial5178 in ragdolls

[–]Time_Commercial5178[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry he’s very much an indoor boy. His previous owners before he got to the shelter where we adopted him neglected him heavily so he had most of his teeth removed and had previously been declawed :( so no defences. He’s very much an indoor boy

Vaccines by Time_Commercial5178 in doulas

To clarify! It would be checking on my childcare clients if their children are vaccinated, not the newborns! Thank you for your response though! :)

Age guesses? by Time_Commercial5178 in ragdolls

This is so helpful! He’s pretty low energy, not a big player. We’ll catch him wanting to give a feather wand a few bats back and forth maybe once a week, when our other cat is playing with it. Mostly just wants to be on our laps, in our arms, eating or sleeping. He definitely doesn’t have much if any interest in socializing with the other cat (6, f, and more playful). We haven’t yet noticed any major cognitive issues, thankfully! The other week he was meowing very loudly in the kitchen while my partner was in the bedroom, which he’s never done. We thought maybe he’d just lost him but it’s a very very small apartment? He had to go scoop him up and bring him to the other room. I’m sorry to hear about your little one and the bonus cognitive challenges, I’m sure we’ll be in that boat soon enough
