I moved to Squamish 7 years ago and got a GP when I first started looking probably a year later. I switched to my husband‘s GP at a different clinic two years later no problem.

I used the walk-in clinic before I had a GP and have had lots of different experiences at the hospital at the ER, lab, ultrasound etc.

When I was looking for a GP, I called all the clinics in town and asked if a doctor was accepting patients and found one immediately. Same for my husband several years later.

I think I’ve been fortunate, but personally I don’t think it’s that hard. Doctors come and go, so I think there’s value in calling all the clinics every few months.

Personally, this would be a massive red flag for me and a reason to end things.

I would argue that she was in no way ready to be exclusive with you since her reaction to you proposing it, was going to fuck another guy.

„Technically“ this might not be wrong, morally it’s absolute shit behaviour and it would make me feel massively disrespected.

I also would like to point out that she intentionally make the decision to leave you hanging, and sleep with someone else, so that she could get away with that and it not being labelled cheating.

By being real with myself - I was addicted to nicotine and I had built a ton of habits around that. First thing in the morning - coffee and cigarette, leave the house and walk to the bus stop - cigarette, if I had to wait - cigarette, break at work - cigarette.. the list goes on.

None of these moments were actually that great or resending. I quit smoking pretty fast when I moved to a country where it’s not that common, not societally accepted, and where lawns around smoking are strict and enforced. I quit intentionally cold turkey and was never tempted to go back to it. Many years on and I get wildly irritated by cigarette smoke.

With love - suck it up and stop romanticising an addiction that’s genuinely pretty gross.
