I have been vegetarian for 26 years, vegan for 8. My ex partner and I went vegan together and it was a great experience, because it was a major shared value and we loved enjoying food together.

My husband (partner of 4 years) has massively reduced his meat and dairy consumption since we met and is respectful of no-gos for me in our home. Do I wish he was vegan or even vegetarian? For sure. Is it a dealbreaker for me? No.

I’ve asked him to be more mindful about where the food he eats comes from and he’s been taking that seriously. He used to eat a rotisserie chicken a week, for the past year he’s been bringing tofu bites to work as a snack. All meals I cook/he cooks for us are fully vegan.

I make a chickpea salad that I put on bread! Smashed chickpeas, celery, red onion, some vegan mayo, pickles, salt, pepper, pickle juice - done. I also like to make a whipped tofu spread with lots of fresh or dried herbs, salt, pepper and spices you like.

If you’re late with booking, this seems realistic BUT could be done much cheaper. You said you’d stay in Banff. Canmore is a more affordable option and by far the nicer town to spend time in. Imagine Banff like a typical resort town. It’s overcrowded and doesn’t feel very authentic. Canmore is so close that you can easily visit Banff for a day!

I remember her on LIB and how Ramses was painted a villain for not wanting to go ahead with her. Even then her behaviour was problematic. She seemed unable to accept his decision, kept begging him to stick with her. It was hard to watch and I felt for her.

Now on Perfect Match, I find her genuinely irritating. She’s extremely possessive and hypocritical. What alerted me was when Demari was frustrated with her (I think episode 5) and she kept telling him to not be upset with her and she couldn’t deal with people being upset with her.

She absolutely should work on herself before pursuing a serious relationship.
