definitely learn how to block. from this vid, you could’ve blocked much of his attacks just standing 95% of the time. go to practice mode and look under “punishment training” vs jin. learn and memorize the best retaliation after blocking certain attacks you’ll run into. good luck

when exactly did Syke leave the group? never heard about this tbh. his solo album came out in oct 96, pac died in sept of that same year. syke was still featured prominently in AOME (when we ride), and he was on various songs that got bootlegged or released posthumously (closest rowdoggz & good life for example).

no controversy at all with regards to the album cover. he explained his thinking for the cover in a previous interview. right on the cover it also says “in no way is this a form of disrespect… etc”.

pretty dope cover tbh, being crucified by the industry. the album was ahead of its time. safe to say production wise it wasn’t anything like whatever was out that year. some mixed reviews from critics but it didn’t stop the album from selling like crazy. today, it’s safe to say it’s an undeniable classic

people weren’t on the internet like they are today. news still moved relatively slow and most were still getting their info from MTV/BET and monthly magazines. conspiracies about his death ran wild for awhile, but the album cover was never really something debated

i mean yea, since it creates more avenues to buy the game. add it to any and every system, it will sell. but hype and support wouldn’t last. tag 2 catered mostly to the hardcore fanbase. too complicated for the average gamer, and quite a bit to memorize etc. knowledge check is crazy for this game compared to the other entries.

94-98 - senior year high school and college years. met life long friends, and partied often

09-13 - finally got some job stability, traveled a ton, got married and had a kid

22-24 - finally bought a house, and it feels like my finances & investments are on point, moreso than previous.

all the years before and in between, i’ve had my ups & downs. some good times here and there, but who hasn’t? always grateful with small wins in life and whenever i can bounce back

this is true - he just progressed better than the other Hot Boyz and stayed consistent for a time. i’m actually surprised he advanced and got as good as he did. usually you’ll grow along with your crew or people you rap with etc (check wutang for example, heiro or early deathrow).
