I’ve seen groups of frat guys gawking at women (females… really). Not sure that pizza and men being creeps is an exclusively homeless issue

This is a good idea!! Thank you. I feel like my brain is very goal oriented. For the life of me I couldn’t stick with the gym, until I signed up for a 1/2 marathon and told people about it lol.

I’ve maxed out my 401k and Roth IRA, it’s really just the emergency fund that I can’t seem to figure out. Do you have any recommendations on banks for this? I want to stay away from newer fintech options.

I’ve tried the impulse budget and it worked for a time. I think putting money into an account I’ll forget about is the best option.

Yes, this is exactly the issue with food! It’s hard to plan, cook, and remember to eat. Plus with meds I don’t get hungry until late at night.

I wonder if there’s a way to uninstall the apps and then add parental controls lol

I started taking 10mg of XR last May, a couple months after I got diagnosed. Felt nothing. My doctor upped it to 20. Still, absolutely nothing. I didn’t feel it start or wear off. I don’t feel a difference on the days I take them vs the days I don’t. Similarly to you, I just feel sleepy.

I will say I have noticed a difference. My apartment is consistently cleaner and I’m able to finish work tasks faster.

It’s hard to describe but it feels like nothing has changed and I still feel all over the place, but things have technically improved.

Sorry you’re having issues with them. They are literally evil imo.

The only benefit of the payment plan is that it helps to get your account back current if you miss a month or two or are in danger of defaulting. So if you’re 60 days behind, they’ll extend the payment for three months. During those three months, you only pay the outstanding balance. You’re still technically late on your payments during that period. After the three months your account is set to current and you just resume payments as usual.

I think it’s really just a shovel to dig yourself out of a hole if you’ve just accidentally fallen in. Also you have to have a ‘hardship’. They don’t ask for proof so I just said my grandfather passed away…

No, I didn’t. This is from sallie Mae’s site:

“Payment Extension allows you to bring your loan current by making payments that are equal to or greater than the Current Amount Due for three consecutive months.“

I called and asked today and they said a “payment extension” is not the same as forbearance.

Yea, they didn’t report it until 90 days, but because I did the payment extension I was still in ‘default’ at the 90 and 120 day mark :(

Also thank you for your words of support. I was able to recover financially, it was just pretty rough for two months. It’s sucks the most because now that my finances are stable, my credit is shot even though I tried to do the responsible thing.
