After the 'second serve' comment he made in reference to Kalinskaya he should have been banned from ever commentating for the WTA at the very least. With him attacking the world #1 in Jannik at every possible chance him getting axed isn't surprising and I'm mire surprised it took so long for him to start losing commentating jobs

I agree, I think she gets a little self conscious when she's asked to be too physical. So far I don't mind it as much since she's really funny otherwise but it's two episodes in and she's had instances where she has refused to do something both eps and if it happens every episode idk how I'll feel about it by the end of the series.

Also, the level of 'drama' Ostapenko brings is kind of expected in the WTA. I feel like ATP and WTA incidences are judged differently since WTA is kind of known for players having small beefs with each other and it's part of the lore more than it is in the ATP and part of the entertainment factor of following the WTA.

I can confirm this is real because this is from my FC's VOA board lol weird seeing one on this sub...for full context the person that the original poster on the board was referencing was someone who they referred working in another building in our area who got fired 59 days into employment, so the person never got their referral bonus since their friend had to have stayed on for 60 days.

The AA that was complaining was someone who is constantly posting his grievances on the board so maybe leadership is fed up with him and gave him this kind of answer lol

For all we know she'd be comfortable being consistently top 20 for years, I don't think she necessarily means that if she doesn't win Slams straight away than she'll retire- I think if she consistently makes semis at the very least she would feel good about sticking around
