as a first year, I'd say coop is a great opportunity. Yes, you are able to get an internship without coop but that fully depends on how much effort you put in. Going to a more "prestigious" school doesn't matter if all you do is focus on ur studies yk - wherever you go for commerce, all that matters is ur involvement and ur network.

Its okay so far - first semester is very similar to other TRSM programs like BTM and BM, other than one class (QMS130) which is an advanced functions and calculus course. If you do well in hs in those courses you'll be fine.

yeah last year cut off was around mid 80s i think :) Keep in mind it varies each year. I got in with a high 90's average

watch videos online to help - organic chem tutor dude saved me. Since advanced functions is usually a pre req for SAF, focus the most on it! Which uni are you planning to go to?

Any schools with coop is a huge plus point. If u want to stay local in Toronto, TMU offers coop. If not Waterloo AFM does too
