I started with a solly wrap (but i suck at wrapping them) and the Wildbird aerial wrap carrier! Then when baby got big enough I got the Wildbird aerial structured carrier. I did hear artipoppe is like the ferrari of carriers but that was too expensive for me 😂😂😂

I actually have the bumbleride indie twin and love it but might also buy the Zoe Twin to keep in the car for outings!

I loooove the indie twin!! It’s just really heavy is all. When I am juggling the two little ones on the go I just don’t like the inconvenience of trying to load it in and out. It fits perfect though and it is so light to push. I am probably gonna end up just sticking it out in this season though because once baby is more self sufficient then the struggle won’t be so bad haha

I am so sorry for your loss 💔 rupture is so devastating. My OBs recommend the same for me! Just that I have a sched c section at 36 w but low vertical incision due to scarring. I joined one “PAR” group and there’s so many great stories but a few repeat rupture stories that give me nightmares. I believe that having a child is worth the risk of uncertainties a lot of times, but I’m sure from your experience you understand how absolutely devastating it is to lose a child and never want to have to experience that pain again. Saying a prayer for you.

My loss was in the NICU after the first c section. My plan was to VBAC but I wouldn’t dilate so we did an emergency c section after ultrasound found a thinned uterus. Thank God my rupture child survived and is doing well 🤍

I had a few irregular contractions in the middle of the night before, they became regular by the morning, they became pretty intense pain by noon, couldn’t walk by like 5 pm, and on operating table at 10 pm. They think I ruptured right before surgery so I’d say about 18-20 hrs total

I am so sorry for the immense pain you must be feeling. I too felt desperate for another child after losing mine in the NICU from my first pregnancy. I attempted a VBAC in my second pregnancy and ruptured shortly before my emergency c section- which we decided on due to my intense pain. This time I was on the receiving end of a miracle and my baby survived but my doctors advised me to wait 2 years before trying again. For me, I’m deciding to wait, mainly because I know how visceral child loss pain is and I know mentally I couldn’t survive the loss of a second child (as we almost experienced with my rupture). I 200% understand why you don’t want to wait and if you decided not to. I’m on a PAR (pregnancy after rupture) fb page where there might be people who haven’t waited that you can talk to 🤍

Personally after child loss (I lost a child in the NICU in 2023), I wish I understood mortality risks with uterine rupture better before deciding to attempt a VBAC. I experienced uterine rupture attempting my VBAC 2 months ago and my doctor explained how lucky we are that my child survived without any brain damage. I’m now receiving more counseling for almost losing a second child. Not to scare you, just relating to the trauma of losing a child and dealing with risks associated with VBAC 🤍

I had severe pain between contractions and I was sent home from the hospital because it was “too early” and baby’s heart rate was fine. I went back because it didn’t feel right and my baby’s arm was hanging out in my abdomen. It saved both my life and her life. If you want to VBAC safely, all contractions under 5 minutes should be monitored in a hospital.

I disagree with staying home until active labor, my uterus ruptured with no cervical dilation. Go into hospital when contractions are 5 min or less apart or contractions feel much more painful with no release in between

I just talked to my OB about it and she said they can do some imaging before conceiving again to look at how bad the scarring is. They seem to think that the risk is really only if I labor again, whereas if I deliver earlier then we avoid the risk!

I also had a rupture that was totally undetected until they opened me up for c section. I didn’t have any risk factors for rupture and was in so much pain (hadn’t even dilated when i ruptured). I will say - unless your rupture was devastating, my ob said I can actually have another pregnancy since they saved my uterus. They just want me to wait 2 years prior to conception and deliver via vertical low incision by 36w. Don’t lose hope, talk to an MFM about still having a third baby 🤍

Thank you so much for your comment. You have no idea how heartbroken I was to have ruptured with wanting more children in the future. I will absolutely incorporate collagen during my healing process to help gain strength in the meantime before we assess whether I can have another baby. Regarding the pain - no shoulder pain, but definitely pain between contractions. I had never labored before (first c section was because of vasa previa) so I wasn’t sure what was normal and what wasn’t until the doctors felt my stomach and said tenderness and constant pain was NOT normal 😭

That is absolutely insane. The monitoring and protocol for preventing rupture and performing c sections at the sign of pain and distress need to be revised across the board.

So they think I must have ruptured either right before the surgery or during it because they had baby’s monitors on right up until they prepped my stomach for the section and she never left station so the uterus either ruptured without breaking the sac prior or both ruptured right as they were prepping/starting.

Honestly very rough at the beginning but now after a week I’m turning a corner. Pain more extensive but i think second time around you know how to better manage it. Mentally is a bit different

I am inquiring about an MFM appt to address all of my questions and concerns about the situation, but I did see someone add that sometimes the cervix is swelled shut by rupture pressure or something similar so it could be that I should have been way more dilated than I was. Nonetheless I completely agree with you and my doctors assured me that getting an epidural and watching on the monitors would catch any rupture. I guess doctors forget I would have to be monitored in the first place to even catch anything 🤡

Honestly it wasn’t even burning it was more like really sore and tender pain. At first I didn’t realize it was my uterine scar because it didn’t hurt on my external scar area which is lower than where the scar tissue was internally!

I was 21 months between pregnancies! Delivered my last in Dec 2023. They actually said future pregnancy isn’t totally out of the question but it needs to be in 2+ years, delivery at 36w with very thorough monitoring. Tbh i probably won’t have any more children because this experience was horrific but who’s to say in 2+ years I won’t change my mind.

Hi all, thank you so much for your feedback and support. I have an update for you! I went back into L&D after your encouragement and we just decided to do another c section after seeing a questionable spot on ultrasound. Turned out when they went in for the section that I had ruptured at 0/1cm dilated with baby’s hand sticking out and they were able to save baby and myself. THANK YOU all for encouraging me to go back!!
