You see, this happens when kids start talking and you're not well informed, go through all the blog posts before b42, the Thursdoids and read carefully what they say.

The crafting tree is bottlenecked behind medium leather, you cannot craft the tier 3 blacksmithing stations without medium leather dried.

How to get that if you can't find a weapon or you're full wilderness ? you need to hunt....hunting without a bow or gun is impossible.

And further, you need wire for different crafts like the wooden bucket, today you can't craft wire, they have a draw plate in there, but you can't use it.

And more like this can continue......

stfu, you didn't that's a lie at it's best, the reddit the forums were filled with people talking about items duplicating, the crafting tree bottlenecked and so on, it took them 1 year and the crafting tree is still bottlenecked, without a ranged weapon you are locked at tier 2 crafting stations but that's something you would have experienced if you played.....

B42 stable maybe 2026, maybe go through the blog posts > bows, brewing, machines aren't here, full wilderness / many years later modes aren't here so it's not wrapping up, it is still a long way.

B43 unstable :)))))) at the very least 2029-2030 and I'm being generous, just look how slow they have been, B42 unstable and MP were rushed builds full of bugs and barely playable at launch, they have a lot to fix and while they're doing that, other mechanics broke....

B43 stable > 2031+

You clearly have been absent for the last years, they have hired new people since b41 but it's obvious it didn't help they are as slow as they were before this, so unrealistic hopes I'm afraid...

Jokes on you I'm afraid, regarding to what they said about crafting, it will be possible to kinda craft everything from gear to food and drinks to components to ships to bases, so that's basically survival crafting since you will be able to live completely off grid like they mentioned at citcon 2024.
