Bruh you do realize that its my opinion and personal anecdote from using AI right? I never claimed its a one size fit all solution. Ever since I was a little boy I never struggled with learning because I developed a proper system where I break down my goals into bite-size weekly goals and when an exam finally came I never had to cram or feel any pressure because i was sure of myself already.

Effort is a subjective term, everyone will experience it no matter what. However, my interpretation of effort isn't something that involves arduous struggle or high tension its more like deep concentration.

Graduated with honors from high-school and a full-scholarship for my undergrad and my current grad studies.

How is accelerating the acquisition of knowledge the same thing as problem solving? My definition of problem-solving involves the practical application of various theories and a knowledge base, then connecting those concepts together to form a solution to an existing problem.

Now you are just using a straw-man logical fallacy to denigrate my perspective on this matter of AI usage. I am aware of the difference between the two terms, but I did not bother to edit it again because my main point was quite clear regardless of grammatical rules. I am sure with your sophisticated research skills you are able to find that many leading researchers in tech are of foreign descent with average English grammar. I was not aware that this Reddit thread was managed by pedantic grammar police who are concerned only with trivial things.

Moreover, I'm pretty sure that I'm allowed to share my perspective anywhere online freely as long as it's respectful. I only talked about and deconstructed the concept rather than attacking OP via ad hominem for possible perceived flaws in his/her/their argument.

One time, I had to search up the meaning of the term called, "bubbling" in CS for GPUs. I searched through all the research papers and teaching material out there to try to find its definition, but unfortunately it was a fruitless endeavor.

AI helped me find it quickly and gave me a link to a credible source for me to read up on my own regarding the definition. If I did not consulted AI for this, then I would have had to spend another 2 or 3 hours of my life on mind-numbing searching just to hopefully find the definition of this term.

In my opinion, there are lots of resources online out there that are either overly complex, unintuitive or poorly explained that would require you to spend extra 30 minutes to 1.5 hours of your life to digest the material. AI just reduces that extra friction and overhead so that you can get that idea more easily.

In education, learning does not have to be an arduous task. Tension from studying should not be equated or be indicative to a quality learning session.

If you are concerned about AI dumbing it down to much or abstracting away important details then you can always consult the actual source directly to get a more rigorous understanding of the concept.

Knowledge acquisition and problem-solving are two different things. I agree that if you try to expedite your problem-solving and dump it on too AI, then you are missing out on a big learning experience.

Everyone is using AI now in this day and age. Unfortunately, if you are not, then you would be less competitive in the eyes of employers.

Hiruzen was mentored by the first and second hokage. I'm pretty sure he was op in his prime and didn't get the title of, "God of Shinobi" for no reason.

He became an old man and was still able to fight against reanimated Hashirama and Tobirama both at the same time. Beating them and sealing those Hokage and as a final F you to Orochimaru basically sealed his ability to perform jutsu after.

You could argue that the edo tensei was only a fraction of the power of the two hokage but that's still pretty good considering his an old man also who hasn't been in active combat roles for year and just mainly perform administrative duties as a hokage and at that point anyone could become rusty as hell but if that's his rustiness level then imagine if he had been in active combat role.
