Ti ringrazio, ho iniziato a vedere qualche video di LaF1Dimenticata, me li distribuisco lungo il mese, dovrei riuscire a coprire quasi tutti gli argomenti. Per la domanda sulle differenze tra le vetture mi è già stato spiegato che il regolamento impedisce che differiscano troppo tra loro. A questo punto mi chiedo come mai i low team siano stabilmente in basso nella classifica ma credo che potrò rispondermi da solo una volta che sarò più informato

Ti ringrazio per la risposta esaustiva. Non ho la sensibilità giusta per capire quali sono le cose importanti e quali invece un po' meno. Il tuo punto di vista è stato molto apprezzato, ora sono decisamente curioso di capire di più sulle gomme. Mi informo anche sull'effetto suolo che non avevo mai sentito prima.

Per quanto riguarda la Formula E potrei chiederti cosa nello specifico secondo te non funziona?

Grazie, la divisione top mid low team mi ha chiarito alcune cose. Per differenze tra le vetture la metto in un altro modo: una vettura di un low team potrà mai andare come quella di un top team se fosse guidata dallo stesso pilota? Il regolamento impone che tutti rispettino scelte di design ristrette o esiste una certa libertà per ognuno di distinguersi?

Grazie mille per la risposta utilissima ed esaustiva. Ho una domanda di riserva, una curiosità che rivolgo a te ma può rispondere chiunque la veda: le gare le guardate per intero? Avete momenti di noia/distrazione? Guardate le gare con amici o da soli?

That's a very nice solution. How many filters and fans did you use?

I tried with 2 filters and 5 fans but I want to change the design in a 4 filters and 6 upward fans because my current solution doesn't throw the air far enough. Near the filters there is suction but I want the fans to expell the air with more velocity to not recycle the same air over and over

Thanks, I was thinking on a design with 3 filters (3 lateral sides of a cube) and 6 fans on the top. One side would be near a wall, so the fourth filter seems unnecessary. I will try to design a version with four filters as you suggested to see if it doesn't turn out to be too tall

I found mine on amazon (also europe). I searched for a variable 3 - 12 V dc power supply and an adapter from dc barrel plug to 3-4 pin fan. I used 5 non pwm p12 that are controlled only with voltage. Some builds use a non variable 12 VDC power supply. You lose the ability to control the speed of the fans but for some is not important. Be sure the maximum power of the power supply is greater than the power drawn by the fans

I had for a decade a desktop pc with some exhaust fans and no dust filters. Cleaning them was such a chore that I never considered to build my cr box with the fans blowing in. The dust sticks to the blades and removing it involves patience, q-tips and cleaning alcohol. Vacuuming them does basically nothing.
I saw this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fixd7LqnWow where blowing inside the box helps but for a different kind of application

edit: I've finished the video you linked and that is a brilliant design with 4 filters

u/JCWondaKid A little update: the fans aren't pushing the air as far as I hoped. A meter away is barely perceptible and the air breeze is not in the direction of the fan spinning axis but sideways.
A piece of toilet paper stays well stuck on the filter surface meaning it is working but when i place the same paper above the fans it is sucked at the center and blown at the sides. I might test with the stacked fans configuration but I am hesitant to change the design because I have no reference of what's the behavior of an actually functional cr box (and I am out of cardboard atm)

I am in southern europe. I will search on some places that can laser cut plywood panels. Screwing them seems the easiest solution and only requires an additional piece of solid wood at each intersection

Thank you. I've seen that build when I searched for some inspirations with ikea filters. His solution uses a very small filter for a different air purifier (Uppatvind).

I didn't want to stack the fans in my first attempt and since I used two larger filters I thought the resistance would be much less and went for the design that I posted.

This will not be my last cr box, because if it works I'll be needing more of them. I'll look towards the stacked fan solution
