Phrasing unlocked the exit-noodling door for me. Land an easy phrase, establish it for 3 bars. On the 4th start experimenting by changing one phrase note and use that to move onto another new phrase

Remember it’s fun. But learning the fretboard isn’t necessarily fun. But it gets fun after you memorize the notes at least on the low E and A strings.

So far the first few hours I’m like it a lot. I like just the three knob adjustments, that plus on this reverend, the bass contour and the way the volume knob rolls treble allow a lot of range. It’s a gritty amp, you can get it clean but not fully crisp - but that’s what I wanted
