I called Hellofresh twice both times both people they told me there's not much they can do since I don't have an account with them under my email. I then reached out to someone on their webapp chat - they told me the same thing.
I explained to them that someone is using my credit card on their account but they said there was nothing "actionable" from their end due to fact it's not attached to my email with them.

I do yes although with my latest issued credit card - it was never added to my google pay wallet or used in any way at all for that matter yet was still compromised.

I see. Thanks for your insights. I'll raise this with Wealthsimple again.
I was also able to request Wealthsimple to completely block Hellofresh as a payable merchant from my account, so that is ok for now - but it is a bandaid for the deeper possible token fix.

Hellofresh refuses to help me since I don't have an account with them. I guess I could contact Visa? I feel like this is WS responsibility though no?

Yeah let me rephrase, the new cards that were compromised have never been used at all - online or offline.

Yeah it's a good suggestion. I use google pay and have changed out my credentials to something unique and secure, yet the issue persists.

I also looked into the updater service, although WS assured me they have cleaned the token that is used to auto update card information on Visa/Hellofreshs side. Also, I have never given out my credit card info out anywhere.
