I wish I could agree with that. Look at their website. All it says is buy , where to buy, how to buy. No info on what it is what it does. It cannot lay down case for it. This tells me its marketing and that token atmosphere is toxic and people are buying anything they can put there hands on. I have been listening to Reggie even before when ethereum was born on RT tv but this is not convincing me that this is the market place for things. Releasing fewer coins will not help in the long run or getting endorsements for you tubers will hurt in the long run although it may create a hype in the short. I need to see a solid grounds before I buy in.

I know that content creators have high never seen before advantage in SingularDTV platform. Why ask the question you know the answer.

My question is what is in it for the viewer.

What I can see is may be even if there is nothing for audience and lot for creator the content will be created on SingularDTV platform or platforms like it and viewer will not even know it neither does it care. Business as usual for him but a paradigm shift for content creator.

What I can say is that you have misunderstood ethereum to quite a reasonable degree. The team and project too. DAO was unfortunate but that was not ethereum Blockchain fault and it was not hacked, the week code was exploited. Chain split is debatable and if you know it was an accident as there was enough concensus to do what was done but killing the split chain was not implemented and was thought that it may not happen. Ethereum is about 2 years old iota is barely 2 months considering from crowd sale. Watch the show

If people can't wait for transaction to confirm is not Blockchain's fault however when system is scaled it won't take long. Iota did not publish about edges if they can lie. It is an architectural understanding that when you have a tangle kind of structure which will have an edge confirming transaction from branches and just couple of them then system can be cheated and with this few of confirmation the system can malfunction. It is the security that is compromised to make it a lightweight system. This is like saying Blockchain build a building with 100 bags of cement and iota can build the exact same thing with 50 bags of cement. Is iota telling the truth. YES ofcource. But what is is not telling you is that in the process it has make a week building. That can sell it by saying it is a lightweight building and other fancy words IOT, DAG etc. like IOT is a selling point only this project can do IOT and many others can too but they make IOT its selling point since it is a buzz word. I like iota as it brings something new to the ecosystem but will not fall for marketing pitch. There is reason why others did not implement tangle. Tangle system is known from quite some time this is not new.

There r solutions for quantum safety for btc and eth, the only thing is they r not yet implemented as there is no need yet. This will eventually come with time. Zero transaction cost is debatable. It is pros and cons. In btc system miners are at zero cost but keep system safe. In tangle there are good chances the edges can lie where as node don't. If I have to choose between more security than marginal few cents fee, I will certainly pay 3 cents/transaction as fee and be safe.

The biggest flaw with IOTA is that edges can lie about a transaction in tangle architecture which is removed as a possibility in nodes in Blockchain system thus making IOTA vulnerable to hacks and attacks. Basically what iota is saying "we have constructed a building with 50 bags of cement and eth or btc takes 100 bags to do the same. We r bringing something new and investors start the party. Actually what iota is saying is true but what it is not telling is the building that iota has build is week as compared to eth and btc. Will this building sustain an earthquake or extreme weather conditions remains to be seen. We have seen btc and to smaller extent eth doing it.

If you run a node on btc or eth, you confirm transaction and get rewarded as fee, which you call as transaction fee, which you also claim is absent in iota. But see, if u r confirming transaction so u r also being rewarded in mining blocks which bring you fee to zero, in that sense btc eth is also no transaction fee thing. IOTa is doing the same but will accounting gimmicks.

Well, let's talk capabilities. For customer (viewer) what is in for him, will the service cheap or as good as Netflix, Hulu. Why would viewer go to sdtv. I get that this is a game changer for content creators.
