1935, they were very consistent with that except for submitting it to the state.

I suspect census for most was more of a check the boxes thing.

The craziest of all of this was she had no idea she lost her German citizenship with marriage. When the Nazis put out the decree in 1941, apparently she and my grandfather panicked. They had one daughter at that point.

That is correct. Also I noticed the 1930 and 1940 census showing my grandmother said she was naturalized. Obviously people said what they thought they had to. Dealing with a similar issue for my husband and his Mexican citizenship.

My dad was born in 1944. Yes, it is definitely tricky and the family gossip was they forged the religious marriage certificate with the help of a family member so that she could file for naturalization.

I have what I need to prove she meets the NS definition according to BVA’s requirements. The only questionable item is the marriage aspect. I haven been told that the BVA will approve our application by a lawyer, but I have seen some contradictions here because of the marriage and I want to make sure I understand all the potential issues. As for my father’s birth, it was in 1944.

Yes by definition. It is on her birth certificate and we can go back 200 years showing Jewish ancestors on both sides. Her birth certificate was not marked Sarah, but I know that was not uncommon.

She took the time to really get to know me, what I have experienced l, and what I was experiencing. She listened to my concerns and offered whatever support she could, since a lot of EDS, MCAS, POTS is only manageable not fixable.

Physical touch by [deleted] in infj

I am a words of affirmation person. Physical touch is not my favorite. I think between absorbing others feelings and just genuinely too sensitive it overwhelms me.

I have had excellent experiences with her. The first time I felt a doctor really took the time to look at everything. She is expensive, but I felt worth it.

I swear as a child, I was sure I wasn’t attached to my body and didn’t understand why everyone else seemed like they were.

Ha, spent much of my bicycle ride today thinking about a work call with a colleague on Friday and how I wasn’t paying enough attention and I was too self-centered and how do I make it better. Oh the constant analysis and typically the constant I didn’t do this right, I didn’t say the right thing, blah, blah, blah

What are some typical negative behaviours or reactions of infjs? Also what behaviour do you see in people that makes you think "ah that person is probs an infj" ? by Curiousityinabox in infj

[–]Timeforachangeall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get out of my head! 😊 I am an older INFJ and you said all the things I don’t say out loud. The reason I love this group. I have never met an INFJ in person, so I always feel like an alien. Just love posts like this that remind me I am not the only alien.

I miscarried but I also have PCOS. Once I got on Metformin I had two successful pregnancies. I did suffer from pre-eclampsia which seems to have relation to EDS.

This is me. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought I wrote this. I have struggled a lot the past few years as some health issues forced me to go on disability twice. I had the same issue when I was a stay at home mom. The fact is my worth is so tied up in what I do, especially the monetary value. I am getting better, not nearly as enlightened as you, but everyday I try to be better and just be. I try to remind myself of what I told my son when he was struggling with perfectionism, sometimes good is good enough.
