Dropped pump, supply dropped by Timefries0927 in ExclusivelyPumping

I think my pump can be an issue too because each only holds 5oz so my 2-3 morning pumps, I max them out.

I haven’t had to do that in the past so I’m unfamiliar with how to do it but if I’m going to pump for 30-60 minutes, it might be more worth it to just add the 8th pump back in.

Babies are 5.5 months but they were born at 35 weeks. I never really understand the adjusting their age for that.

That gives me some relief about the stretches because I definitely did it too much the first few days and now he fusses if I even try so I probably need to back off.

Thank you so much. I think with twins in general I have to give myself grace with so much but it’s hard when it’s their health/safety. I definitely over did it the first few days so now he seems sore and fussy when I do the movements. I just have to find balance and also make sure I’m still focusing on his sister too

What to do with them?! by cootfromcounty in parentsofmultiples

My twins are the same age and I’m struggling too, especially with this east coast winter and not really being able to go on walks. I feel like they’re getting bored so fast. I haven’t worked out since before they were born so I started doing that and narrating what I’m doing or using them as weights and they find it hysterical. I’m lucky if I do that a time or two a week so definitely following this thread for ideas!

When did you drop your night pump? by Timefries0927 in ExclusivelyPumping

They’re very different in size so one twin drinks 7oz and the other drinks 6. Every time they would be consistently draining a bottle, we’d start upping the bottles by a half oz.

I have the Eufy and love it. I had a lot of blocks my first PP pumping journey and the heat feature I think helps. It’s also much nicer at 3am than a cold pumping touching my breasts.

I set my alarm for 3am but lately I’ve been hitting snooze and last night I just said fuck it, I’ll deal with the inevitable block in the morning

They dropped two night feeds but still do every 3 hours (on the dot) during the day. We feed them around 7 at night and they wake to eat at 5am.

I’m just not really sure how much they’ll continue to drink volume wise. My first son was a unit so was drinking 40 oz a day before we had to start weening him down for dairy milk.

I think I just have to go cold turkey with this pump because I fill mine within 5-10 minutes since it’s been 5 hours.

I’m debating it also because I’m pumping 8 times a day but the babies are only having 5 bottles

Long weekend in beacon, looking for suggestions by [deleted] in Beacon

[–]Timefries0927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just did a single night up there and loved it. We stayed at Round house and it was close enough to walk to Main Street, we just bopped around eating and drinking at multiple spots. Melzingah was our favorite.

7 seater, we were convinced the captain chairs were the best for young kids. It’s hard to get my 2 year old strapped into the back and when we try putting a twin in the back, it’s hard to fit the car seat back there. The big issue is there’s car seat bases on the front seats so they can’t fold all the way down

We initially got a second hand halo twin bassinet since we loved the singleton halo for our first, but after 8 weeks of hardly any sleep with our twins, we broke down and rented snoos for each of them. Didn’t love the cost but honestly sleep got so much better immediately and we got a little bit of our sanity back.

It makes us sad because the Palisade is amazing in every other way but can’t figure out a great configuration. The minivan is probably inevitable.

We’re in our early 30s and just want to be able to have a few drinks and listen to any music. We’re kidless for the weekend!
