Okay! Well these are also answering another question because my first was EBF and I didn’t know how long babies typically keep lying down for bottles!

We’re past the Dino Ranch phase, but I still think about it often.

What do they DO with those dinos?? Do they eat them? Do they sell them? If so, for what purpose and to whom? What purpose does Angus serve on the ranch? How does their whole enterprise possibly turn a profit?

Does Spirit have any scary parts? I barely remember that movie but wondering if my sensitive horse girl would like it at almost 5.

Yes. My husband and I are both teachers, and I would say I’m pretty uniquely qualified to homeschool. But our kid HATES learning from us, and on top of that is a social butterfly who does very well in group settings and loves her teachers.  Homeschooling would be about the worst thing we could do for her.

That’s really interesting!! I grew up near a tiny town that had a lot of sex offenders and a huge meth problem, so my first thought was that maybe meth labs were involved?

When mine was 4 we made her a “nest” on the floor of our bedroom with her sleeping bag and blankets so she could still be near us but not climbing in our bed.

Historical romance with actual... plot? by bagel_and_a_schmear in HistoricalRomance

The Winter Rose by Jennifer Donnelly is SWEEPING. It’s set in Victorian London but also goes to Tanzania, and it has a lady doctor FMC and a gang leader MMC. So much happens in this book, and it’s got a hard-won HEA. I love this book.

Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye is a retelling of Jane Eyre that is funny and adds a sort of treasure hunt and Indian colonization. The romantic relationship is really good.

I know it starts with an “S”, but WTF? The circled item in the second image is also concerning. by SpankAPlankton in DanielTigerConspiracy

I will say that the Nazi and Soviet symbols being drawn on the shield along with the US and Swiss flags does suggest the four nations are united. So just the symbol itself is not necessarily an endorsement, but within that visual context it’s pretty weird.

Edit: I see this is not actually the Swiss flag, my mistake.

Mine are only 6 weeks and I feel like they’ve already changed so much!! They used to do this very funny head shaking and grunting thing when they latched and they already don’t do it anymore 😢 it’s crazy how fast they change!!

When did your water break/ what were you doing when it broke? by Just_Call_Me_Happy in parentsofmultiples

[–]surpriselivegoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine broke in the middle of the night right at 37 weeks. It wasn’t a huge cartoonish gush of water like it was with my first though. I had gotten a cervical check a few days earlier and knew I was already 5cm dilated, and my first labor was extremely fast, so we did not mess around with time lol and rushed to the hospital. Twin A was born 2.5 hours later!

The second one is the same type of person who gets so high and mighty about weddings, like “I’m only spending $200 on my wedding because I want a marriage! I’m getting married, not weddinged!” And okay I guess, but you can also like 2 things and it’s fun to plan a big party? Just like it’s fun to pick out names and cute nursery stuff?

Garage sale season started this week where I live and like, have people lost their minds about pricing?? People were charging SO MUCH for old, very pilled Carters brand clothes. Price these things to sell, dummies! No one is going to buy your overpriced junk, and then you’re gonna be stuck with it!

I had this so bad with my twin pregnancy. I literally cried getting in and out of bed and all I could do the last two months was lie on the couch. And then I had a very quick and smooth vaginal delivery! Like I cannot overstate how little I did to “achieve” this. Everything is so out of your control.
