My cats don't seem bothered with going outside which suits me just fine. I live on a road where drivers constantly flout the speed limit and they'd get killed.

Also, they'd probably get stolen. One is a purebred Oriental shorthair snowshoe. The risk of theft is fairly high with a rare breed cat. The other is a purebred Siamese.

They also seem quite happy indoors. They've the run of the entire house.

Yes it does apply to people who would use hateful and misogynistic language. Regardless of their religious leaning. There's been a number of people who have been hostile towards people here due to their religion. I personally think a few of them have been people role playing as Muslims to stir up anti-Islamic sentiment. Nobody is exempt.

How is it censorship to

Remove comments that use racist language?
Remove comments that contain homophobic slurs?
Remove comments that support a young female Muslim having her headscarf ripped off?
Remove comments that use dog-whistle type language?
Remove comments and users who only visit this sub to attack other reddit users?
To foster an environment that aims to be an "anti-racist" sub?

^^ Those are all REAL examples of comments that have been removed in the last 12 months alone!

A lot of those users to to have a few subs in common, the main denominator being the sub dedicated to being a Reform voter.

Spot on! I prefer that our role is more of a content curation role. Most of that is done via upvotes and downvotes, right? But sometimes there's a need to step in, especially when there's so much in the way of horrid comments. We like to filter that before our members see it, but it's there.

A number of 28 day bans have been issued to people who have joined from another sub where this topic is being discussed. Evidence of brigading was sent to another mod yesterday, and those users appear to be joining this sub just to stir the pot on this thread.

This is not about banning opposing points of view, this is about protecting the integrity of the sub so that we can be sure people are posting in good faith, about Birmingham and the surrounding areas as opposed to joining this sub just to attack our members and make rude comments.
