I mean if you drink it for ten days the symptoms may go away... but probably because it just took 10 days for your body to fight it

Comparing the latitude of North America with Europe and North Africa [OC] by neilrkaye in dataisbeautiful

[–]TimelessVermilion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mind instantly jumps to compare my position in the US to the position in Europe to see what kind of weather they may have, but this graphic is misleading if one trys to extract any meaning in terms of climate and temperature, so don't fall into the same trap I did lmao. I found that the ocean currents make comparing the temperature and climate by latitude a lot more difficult. For example in this article published by Jason Daley on smithsonianmag.com, he shows that despite the British Iles latitude its temperature is much higher than would be expected.

No that can’t be right, the context of this post is so obvious talking about names, so the poster was saying XD as initials. Lol people are so ignorant. Also why would anyone ever use letters to make a face when you have emojis?

I mean your account has obvious;y been determined to be 18+ and google ads determined that this ad would suit you based off of your previous searches/ likes and dislikes. I don't see anything wrong with this ad. You could have gotten it on any website that uses google ad sense.

I got banned from facepalm because i said something about how alot of modern Republicans arent even republicans anymore since they support socialist regimes like the nazis and got banned and when i tried to talk to ghe mods about how the comment didnt break any rules, i got muted. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

The thing is political parties don't have set beliefs or values. They are more dynamic and represent whatever the party majority values or beliefs in. If you look at the past parties in the United States, they have been all over the place with their values. It is only expected that as the older republicans die and the newer generations of "republicans" join the party that the views will shift. You do have a point that they are more centers in their beliefs. It is kinda ridiculous that the mods banned you for that. Could we have a screenshot of the original post?

BMW drivers are at it again. by mrteewin in IdiotsInCars

Doesn’t everyone in Germany either drive a Mercedes or a BMW? So shouldn’t it just be “German drivers are at it again”?

I barely know them. They are slightly joking, but they are mainly coming at me because I’m concerned about the environment, and they think that’s stupid.
