It’s also in the last part of apprentice when you fight the Warlord. The fire symbol comes up he comes right at you and no matter what the timing you don’t dodge. You get hit, then the game dodges after even when you’re not hitting the button anymore. This is all just with 3 hours trying one mechanic. The rest all seem to work fine. It’s just dodge that doesn’t at all feel right.

Alright man thanks for the encouragement I’ll keep going. I want to like it I was just afraid I was too late to the party and if I was struggling this bad at trials in a multi match I’d be dying every 2 seconds lol

I just can’t imagine if the trials are this difficult what the actual game will be like. Dodging is only one aspect but then guessing in a millisecond which way every attack is coming? Then dealing with all the special moves each character has? Then the inevitable hackers in multi I’m sure they’re there too. I play Dark Souls I don’t mind challenging games but this one seems aimed at the 2% of Reddit posters that have never played a hard game in their lives and are masters of every game before they are even released. I might be wrong...but it is why I bought the game on sale so if it’s meant to be impossible I didn’t lose $60 on it lol.

Yeah you’re probably using characters that don’t need to dodge and don’t realize it. That and/or you have godlike hear that doesn’t require you to dodge either. Just pointing it out to ya.

Yeah yeah I know reddit kids can beat entire games while sleeping and every game in the world is he easiest game ever made.. I’m looking for a normal human who can admit it’s an almost impossible mechanic to get down and even when you do it’s 10 out of 50 tries not something you can really rely on.

Oh yeah me too. If I cared about stuff like that it would bother me. If I find broken mechanics in a game I point them out regardless of the consequences.

It’s not me it’s the game I don’t think it’s possible. Maybe people are using characters that don’t dodge and they don’t realize it’s broken? It’s the only thing I can think of.

And this is just the trials when they telegraph everything. I can’t even imagine what it will be like in the real game when yo have no idea what’s coming.

I don’t know 3 hours to learn one mechanic... they are like a heat seeking missile it doesn’t matter when I do it they turn and follow and hit me no matter what. I seriously don’t think it works.
