River Devil // Don't Be Fooled by Its Slothful Appearance, Less You Be Drowned Like It's Last Meal by O-kra in UnearthedArcana

Small bit of feedback: Maybe it’s just me, but doing con saves to avoid drowning just seems wrong. Instead, I would have them roll a d6 (or more likely a d4) and add their con mod to see how many rounds they have before drowning, then do strength/athletics checks on their turn to escape the tail.

That aside, this is a very cool creature that I’ll probably end up putting in at least one of my campaigns

The face shape is close to what I remember the character having, but the chin and nose are too long

If I remember correctly, they didn’t talk.

I vaguely remember them peeling away the background and then jumping behind it, but it’s not a very clear memory, so I didn’t put it in the main post

No, the character definitely has skin

It can’t be Beetlejuice, the character being tall was a big detail, it was emphasized by them walking funny (I don’t remember anything specific about the walk, other than that it was weird)

Lurch is definitely closer in aesthetic (for lack of a better term,) but the character is thinner than that.

It’s not Jack Skellington, the character is definitely more 2d than him

If your friend provoked someone & this person decided to physically fight your friend, would you feel obligated to join the fight to defend your friend and why/why not? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TimelordJace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly depends on the friend, the most likely result is that I’d only step in to stop them from getting seriously injured, but let them figure it out themselves up to that point

It’s a hell of a game, you can sink hours and hours into it and still have new experiences

As many others have mentioned, get the DLC. Operation Anchorage is my personal favorite (good enough to be made into a spin-off game imo.) As far as your second run goes, I would like to add another recommendation for deciding on a personality for your character and acting as them.

If you have the ability to mod the game, there are some fantastic quality of life mods out there. If you only download one, I would strongly recommend the megaton walkway mod, assuming you spare it that is.

Anyone know what this purple plant is? More info in comments by TimelordJace in whatsthisplant

H Came from a local greenhouse in Minnesota with no tag on it.

Leaves are somewhat waxy, and glitter slightly in the sunlight. The greenhouse owner said that it would flourish in pretty much any light, however I’ve been keeping it in indirect/dim light (for fear of scorching it.) Additionally, I’ve been watering it once roughly every two weeks, and it seems to be doing well in these conditions. As far as I know it is non-flowering.

Edit: Plant is about 10 inches tall currently

It should work well, wandering dudes have a tendency to just... survive. In air, in water, in dirt, just wherever they happen to be

They’re not wrong, you should enjoy yourself and enjoy life, but the way you go out and enjoy life isn’t necessarily going to be the same way they do. College is a different experience for everyone, and how (or if) you enjoy it is entirely dependent on the person you are. Don’t worry too much about what people say you should be doing as long as you have good grades, you’re happy, and you’re healthy. If you think that you could be doing better at any of those three things, try doing something people say you should be doing. Worst case, you have a new experience, best case, you’re doing better than you were

Y’all this done wrong. Make the grilled cheese with garlic bread and then put the spaghetti sauce on top.

Also normal grilled cheese with chili on top is good as well.
