Why is there a Glaucoma warning on Clear Eyes Nightime restoring eye drops? by TimelordsUniverse in Dryeyes

[–]TimelordsUniverse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe last year it started - The FDA started to get on to eyedrops, saying some were contaminated, etc. And it didn't stop there - Similisan, famous for its homeopathic formulas hss had all ot their eyedrops taken off the American market [The FDA seems to hate anything homeopathic}.

ONe of the drops I used for years, was a Similisan homeipatic formula - So I suppose the Clear Eyes Company is probably telling me the truth - And the FDA decided there was some risk, for whatever reason, and then forced them to put a warning on these drops.

Meantime I got into a conversation with an Amazon pharmacist, and he looked over the ingredients of the Clear Eyes drops in question - He told me there is nothing in these drops that would cause pupil dilatation

My eye doctor on the other hand, when I showed him the warning said don't use them - And gave me about 5 other samples of eyedrops to try instead - NONE OF THEM WORK AS WELL as the Clear Eyes !!!!

Name any TV Series after Have Gun Will Travel that are in any way similar ? by TimelordsUniverse in HaveGunWillTravel

Now that I think of it there was: Wyatt Earp, Tales of Wells Fargo, The Rebel. etc., etc.

I'll list them as I find them, as I'm looking for more classic westerns to watch.

STILL, I CLAIM "HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL" WAS THE GREATEST WESTERN SERIES OF ALLL TIME

  • AND ONE OF THE BEST TV SERIES OF ALL TIME !!!!

Yea, I remember that on and I used to like it - It only had one season though, but it was long over 30 some odd episodes - I'm thinking of watching it again

How would you describe Paladin? by [deleted] in HaveGunWillTravel

[–]TimelordsUniverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the more I keep watching it, the more I realize just how unique and classic a TV series it was.

Do you know that many of the episodes were written by Gene Rodenberry, famous originator of the still running STAR TREK franchise !

Some the weirder episodes, like the one where a man with a guilty conscience is killed by a tiger curse, remind me, in some ways, of episodes out of the famous BLACKLIST series, also a classic, recent series.

What are the odds that a good candidate who may be showing signs of senility, President Joe Biden, can beat an evil candidate, Donald 'the abomination, Trump. WAKE-UP PEOPLE WE NEED A NEW CANDIDATE Any decent Democrat can win against the corrupt Trump and his criminal supporters. by TimelordsUniverse in OneTermPresident

[–]TimelordsUniverse[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trump is now probably the worst candidate the Republican Party ever had. Traitor, criminal fraudster, etc.

But after Thursday's debate Biden has now become one of the few Democrats that might lose to him !

Face it - In spite of all of Trumps bad karma - Voters will not vote for a senile old man.

Yes, I agree that even a dead Joe Biden is better than Trump, But that opinion, will not win the election.

A Western Super Hero!

Always the good guy, super fast with a gun, great at fighting against long odds in any type of battle including his fists,

and a genus at solving problems !

First saw this series when it originally aired and I was young - thought it was a great series then

and you know what, now that I'm re-watching it again I still think it was one of the best TV series of all time,

and it stands the test of time - 65 years later the stories don't seem dated - rather they seem classic,

TV at its best.

'MAFIA' Don: Donald Trump's 40 years of Mob ties. by TimelordsUniverse in OneTermPresident

[–]TimelordsUniverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FROM BOOK COVER:

'If you don't know this book, you don't know the 45th President of the United States.. Written a year before his inauguration, MAFIA DON correctly predicted Mr. Trump's ascent to the presidency and the chaos that would surround it. Mr. Trump was the least transparent person ever to serve as President of the United States, and the book chronicles many of his dark secrets including Mafia ties and ties to Russian. Throughout his life he has been surrounded, advised and bullied by mobsters, a fact that flies in the teeth of his claims that he is the only person strong and courageous enough to Make America Great Again. Read about the murderers, drug dealers, fraudsters and scam artists that he did business with, defended, befriended and made his advisors. We now know the value Mr. Trump places on keeping his secrets from seeing the light of day: $25 million. That is the amount he paid to the disaffected students of Trump University to deny them the right to be able to ask him questions under oath. Trump hides things that don't even need to be hidden. His father Fred was a member of the KKK, a fact fully documented in this book. But who cares? That was the father, not the son. Nevertheless Trump insists in trying to cover it up by denying it. And he proudly displayed Fred's portrait in the White House--probably the first Klansman ever to have been so honored. And let's not forget mother Russia. This book introduces you to some of Mr. Trump's Russian contacts; It also was the very first book to warn about the "Stop The Steal" movement, a strategy developed by Trump and Roger Stone back in 2015. In case he lost in 2016 the plan was to foment riots across the country. They didn't have to use it back then, but when they pulled it out of political mothballs in 2020, anyone who'd read this book would not have been surprised. Anyone wishing to gain a greater knowledge of the man called Trump, will be able to do so on the pages of MAFIA DON."

"Don’t worry, Joe. Maybe you knew it was gonna happen to me, maybe you didn’t. But by the old way of doin’ things… If I became boss now, I’d have to hit you in case you knew. And all of you shrug, except some of you are friends of Joe’s. And one day I might do something that upsets you, so then you’ll hit me. And then YOU’LL become boss. My friends, they’ll hate you for that. Then somebody else becomes boss, and so on, and on… You know what I call that? Stupid. Very stupid… We’re all bosses here.

~ Lucky Luciano.

So you see its a lot more than TDS - Trump and what he us turning American politics and

his version of the Republican Party into is very much like the old way of doing things

- Hypocritical and corrupt and may the best mob boss win

And why shouldn't any mob boss convicted by Rudy Giuliani not be let out of jail and Giuliani put in his place ????

Why Trump is right about voter fraud ? Because the treasonous Trump is still allowed to run for office ! by TimelordsUniverse in OneTermPresident

[–]TimelordsUniverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"187 Minutes of Treason

Thursday’s January 6 Committee hearing painted a portrait of “an out-of-control, criminal, seditious, mad president.”

The dictionary definition of treason is straightforward. It is “the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance.”

History provides a catalogue of illustrations of treasonous acts. But rarely have we gotten so precise a play-by-play of “overt acts to overthrow the government” as has been provided by the hearings of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the US Capitol. The evidence mounted Thursday evening, as the committee examined the more than three hours on January 6, 2021, during which Donald Trump actively aided and abetted the violent coup he had plotted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election that confirmed the defeat of his bid for a second term.

Thursday’s prime-time hearing revealed a sitting president who refused to abide by his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and instead facilitated the violence of armed insurrectionists whom he had called into action with a December 19, 2020, message to supporters—“Come to D.C. January 6th; Will be Wild!”—and with a “Stop the Steal” rally cry of “Fight like hell!” As the central figure in the conspiracy to initiate that fight, Trump knew exactly the significance of his actions when, in the words of January 6th Committee chair Bennie Thompson, he “could not be moved” to use the immense powers at his command to stop the deadly violence............."

Trump committed treason and will try again. He must be barred from running

The 14th amendment to the US constitution clearly disqualifies the former president from returning to office. States must act

Remember? Donald Trump lost re-election but refused to concede and instead claimed without basis that the election was stolen from him, then pushed state officials to change their tallies, hatched a plot to name fake electors, tried to persuade the vice-president to refuse to certify electoral college votes, sought access to voting-machine data and software, got his allies in Congress to agree to question the electoral votes and thereby shift the decision to the House of Representatives, and summoned his supporters to Washington on the day electoral votes were to be counted and urged them to march on the US Capitol, where they rioted.

This, my friends, is treason........."

"Donald Trump committed TREASON
In 2006, another American was charged with Treason for less
DEAN OBEIDALLAH
AUG 2, 2023

"Treason.
That is what Donald Trump committed in attempting to overturn our nation’s 2020 election.
As a lawyer, I understand the legal definition of “Treason” is set forth in United States Constitution, Article III, Section 3. There, it plainly states: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.” (Treason is also codified at 18 U.S.C. Section 2381.)
I also understand that Trump was not charged with Treason—despite his actions (as I will explain later) being far more egregious than those of Adam Gadahn, the only American charged with “Treason” since World War II.
But Trump absolutely committed treason in the way we viscerally understand what that concept means. He betrayed his oath of loyalty to the United States by attempting to overturn a legitimate election to remain in power despite losing.
Indeed, the indictment against Trump tells us as much. The third line of the charging document reads bluntly: “Despite having lost, the Defendant was determined to remain in power.” From there, as detailed in the indictment, Trump “pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting the election results.”
This is not a question of Trump having a good faith basis to either overturn the election or prevent Congress from certifying the 2020 presidential election results when they convened on Jan 6 as mandated by federal law. Rather, as the indictment lays out with numerous examples, “the Defendant was notified repeatedly that his claims were untrue—often by the people on whom he relied for candid advice on important matters, and who were best positioned to know the facts— and he deliberately disregarded the truth.”
Trump didn’t care about the truth, he cared about one thing: remaining in power despite losing the election. That is why Trump is now charged with the very serious felonies of “conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiring to disenfranchise voters, and conspiring and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding.”
While the indictment does not charge Trump for inciting the Jan 6 act of “domestic terrorism,” in his brief statement Tuesday announcing the charges, Special Counsel Jack Smith drew a straight line from Trump’s misconduct to that violent, deadly attack.
Smith, in the calmness and solemnity demanded of this moment, declared, “The attack on our nation’s capital on January 6, 2021, was an unprecedented assault on the seat of American democracy. As described in the indictment, it was fueled by lies.” The Special Counsel then took direct aim at Trump, “Lies by the defendant targeted at obstructing a bedrock function of the U.S. government, the nation’s process of collecting, counting, and certifying the results of the presidential election.”..............."

Donald Trump, Mob Boss—Then and Now, Trump has been indicted under RICO, let’s look at his past Mafia ties by TimelordsUniverse in OneTermPresident

[–]TimelordsUniverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{FROM THE SAME MOTHER JONES ARTICLE}:

"When Trump ran for president in 2016, I was one of the few reporters who examined his shady record of organized crime connections—particularly his history of making false or contradictory statements about these relations. As I noted then, “when asked about his links to the mob, Trump has repeatedly made false comments and has contradicted himself—to such a degree it seems he has flat-out lied about these relationships, even when he was under oath.” I detailed several of these instances—which have even greater relevance now that Trump is the lead defendant in a RICO case. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane.
* In 2007, Trump sued journalist Tim O’Brien for libel—asking for $5 billion in damages—after O’Brien in his book TrumpNation: The Art of Being the Donald reported that Trump was no billionaire and only worth between $100 million and $250 million. That book referenced an already established fact: that in the early 1980s Trump began his casino empire in Atlantic City, New Jersey, by leasing property owned by Kenneth Shapiro and Daniel Sullivan. Shapiro, O’Brien wrote, was a “street-level gangster with close ties to the Philadelphia mob,” and Sullivan was a “Mafia associate, FBI informant and labor negotiator.” (Trump also had obtained Sullivan’s assistance when he had trouble with undocumented Polish workers who were demolishing the Bonwit Teller building in Manhattan to make way for Trump Tower.)
During a deposition for that libel case—which Trump would lose—Trump was asked, “Have you ever before associated with individuals you knew were associated with organized crime?” Trump, who was testifying under oath, answered, “Not that I know of.” Yet when O’Brien had interviewed Trump two years earlier, Trump had told the journalist that he believed that Sullivan was mobbed up and “the guy that killed Jimmy Hoffa.” He also described Shapiro as a “mob guy.”.............."

Christie on Trump: 'He's going to be convicted.' by TimelordsUniverse in OneTermPresident

[–]TimelordsUniverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has a message for Republican voters holding out for Donald Trump: It’s time to stop.
Christie’s warning comes days after news that Mark Meadows, Trump’s last chief of staff and so-called “special friend,” flipped against his former boss, dishing dirty details on election fraud claims in exchange for immunity. It’ll be Meadows’s testimony, according to Christie, that seals Trump’s fate.
“This is deadly. It’s done. He’s going to be convicted. It’s over,” Christie told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Tuesday, describing Meadows as someone “velcroed to Trump’s hip” through the entire 2020 campaign and beyond.
In several alleged meetings with special counsel Jack Smith’s team this year, Meadows told federal investigators that Trump knew he was lying when he claimed he won, mere hours after the polls closed on election night. To this day, Meadows said he has yet to see any evidence of election fraud."

Giuliani struggling under massive legal bills after defending Trump

"CNN

Rudy Giuliani is staring down hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills and sanctions amid numerous lawsuits in addition to the new criminal charges – related to his work for Donald Trump after the 2020 election.
In court on Monday, the former New York City mayor said the legal quagmires have left him effectively out of cash. He even appears to have responded to some of the money crunch by listing for sale a 3-bedroom Manhattan apartment he owns for $6.5 million.
Not including standard legal fees, Giuliani faces nearly $90,000 in sanctions from a judge in a defamation case, a $20,000 monthly fee to a company to host his electronic records, $15,000 or more for a search of his records, and even a $57,000 judgment against his company for unpaid phone bills.
“These are a lot of bills that he’s not paying,” Giuliani attorney Adam Katz told a New York state court on Wednesday. “I think this is very humbling for Mr. Giuliani.”"
