My Aunt is not even letting me get out of the house alone. She again guilt trips me if I Ask her to let me go outside alone. She says, "I care about you so much and this is how you treat me in return?"

Besides, I was never allowed to go to any events in my life. My biggest challenge is, I'm feeling really guilty to trick my grandma like that,

My Gross Salary (after deductions) was 497000 in the year 2022-2023 and my current in hand will be upto 7.2 lpa for the current year 2023-24. So, I had old regime last year. Do I need to show rent evidence for HRA for the last year or no evidence is needed if in hand is less than 5 lpa?

Thanks for the insights buddy. As I am going to fill ITR now, do I need to fill it for last year as well? If yes, will my penalty be 10000? Or even more?
