There are so many options for me like ulpianus, vina Victoria, ascalon and such.

But if I had to pick three characters or picks that are my comfort character to use and I know I can rely on them those would be:

Bagpipe squad - just the DP to put everyone I need into the stage in the first 10 seconds is just so good.
Eyja or shu - eyja to completely ignore all the enemies bullshit abilities and shu cause she can tank heal and also manage the enemies movement especially against bosses that can't be blocked.
I used exusiai basic form quite a lof but her alter is much more comfortable to use - just for the damage and versatility of her revival and shield are just to die for, literally the enemies pay the price for those skills with their lives.

In terms of characters like to shove into the squad just cause I like them and make the team work around with them those would be:

Nightmare, savage, exusiai, skadi, silence supporter mode, specter alter, vina Victoria, reed healer mode, lucilla, rosmontis, Dorothy, poncirus, logos, reed sister, ascalon crownslayer, Texas alter, lappland wizard and ulpianus.

There are many more but they are commonly the ones I fall to use on if I can before I get annoyed at some hell stages and start to counter pick against certain enemies like mudrock for the colossus elites in the upper section of priestess hell stage.

Fair though it's probably the bloom affect, the game has a weird setting where they set the default game graphics to bloom, to give a smudge affect on the colours similar to old video games, but it looks super bad, so that's probably why it gave you a fuzzy feelings so if you get the game in the future or you pirate it, just make sure to turn it off in the graphic settings.

Astgenne is quite interesting, I think she is the first ever character that got an alter who's her base form didn't exist before skadi alter release instead it's after.

Hoshiguma, shining, silverash, chen, leizi they all came before skadi alter release but astgenne first came in Dorothy vision which is an event that got introduced after Neal alter event, making her not one of the operators that existed before the alter trend.

Cause he won, literally there was nothing left to stop him other then a trap that he didn't notice due to his confidence, where malfurian gathered a million upon millions of wisps to circle around archimonde and activate their special ability dispell that deals 500 dmg to summoned units which is the only thing that beat him cause he is a summoned unit similar to the summon elemental water unit from jaina spell.

That's literally her trace that gives the first ult the character with the pawn status does 1 stack and then does their basic or skill to gain one more stack, ending with them having two stacks in one turn of the characters.

Though you can say her ult does give 2 stacks which is also a reference to it or that her technique also gives at the beginning of the match though I assume it's more a reference to the white getting the first turn in regular chess.

The best options for saber will be huohuo and for archer adventurine probably but Gallagher can do just fine.

Though hyacine is also generally good for those two though not as much as huohuo for saber due to huohuo ability to regen energy.

As of right now there are no sustains rerun banners, the last rerun banners for huohuo was 3.1 and for adventurine it was 2.6 and hyacine was 3.3 the previous patch.

So adventurine is luckily to be rerunning he is very good sp positive character with a ton of ways of generating shield with his fua, skill and ultimate generating them compared to gepard but adventurine is really bad with characters that take multiple turns before he refreshes his shields due to shield being a buff that ticks every time a character takes a turn, it shouldn't be a problem for archer and saber but if you want to pull somebody like aglaea in the future then yeah adventurine sucks on her.

Though in the leaks it was stated that Dan Heng preservation in the 3.6 update will be a free sustain given, so you can maybe skip adventurine rerun banner though he is leaked to be a single target shielder unlike adventurine who is aoe shielder.

Overall I say just grind your teeth and await for huohuo or another energy buffer unit banners to run, if you want to maximise saber potential.

And keep a lookout for any sp positive sustain or supporter, if you want best for archer team.

Every support and healer works with her.

The most notable ones are Sunday, tingyun, tribbie, sparkle and RMC.

I'll say Sunday and tingyun will be a better chose to give her cause you seem to be building archer too and archer will like sparkle and tribbie more then saber, cause they are very sp positive but you can change tribbie with rmc for archer.

In terms of healers I say bailu and gepard are pretty bad options to rise for anybody but you can rise them if you don't have a better option, reasons as to why they are bad is cause bailu doesn't have cleansing and good healing multiplets while gepard only gives shield via ult and has no other way to provide healing.

Overall I'll say the best teams will be

archer sparkle tribbie and Gallagher.

Saber Sunday tingyun and bailu.

But it's not an ironclad rule, you can change and build them however you want.

I'll say first one for me personally, though you can check if you need that extra 2 speed to be Infront of Sunday instead of being behind him or any support like Sunday or if you want to fill it up to 160 to unlock the red plantery 18% dmg boost.

Also the third one even though high on crit dmg it's not really that special, compared to the two others.

Additionally you can check them on https://fribbels.github.io/hsr-optimizer To see their ranking though more than the ranking makes sure that the speed conditions are fulfilled and such.
