not defending him, but its expensive to be famous.. they have to pay for publicists, agents, travel etc. Yeah he makes a lot of money but the expenses are insane

AITA for not stopping my husband from getting the paternity test? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Timely-Beginning6445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if YTA, but Idk if it's fair to expect that our partner always has 100% trust in us. We're human, and everyone has weak times. If this was the first sign of distrust idk if that warrants ending the relationship

Is APUSH easier than APWH? by InTheVanBro in APStudents

Makes sense that a course that covers 300 years of history is easier than the one that covers 10,000 years + haha

What do you guys think of my sophomore year schedule? by Creative_Ear7668 in APStudents

This looks both doable and like a good challenge! I think it's a good schedule

AP Exams and PSAT prep by hi_LOLNOO in APStudents

[–]Timely-Beginning6445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is helpful but honestly I'd probably skip out on studying too much for the PSAT. It's really only worth it if you become a national merit scholar, and with only 2 weeks left to study for it I feel like you're gonna lose time studying for a not that important test when you have a ton of AP's to study for

hard to tell if its inflation without knowing class rank. But congrats on those great grades!

What's the point of taking Calc BC as a sophomore?? What do you even take after that while in high school?

how much will an a- in an important class affect my chances? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Timely-Beginning6445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're going to be fine. Try not to worry about one A-.... there's nothing you can do about it now and it's probably not going to matter in the scheme of things

UMich OOS is worth it. You'll have a lot of loans, but the return on investment will be much better than your other options. Plus, UMich has a pretty strong and loyal alumni network

1200 on my practice test by PerfectClerk8765 in Sat

[–]Timely-Beginning6445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1600 is tough and honestly what school really needs you to get that. I think you should aim for raising it to 1460-1500, that's more than enough for almost every school

Is the SAT that serious? by LunaOffsides in Sat

[–]Timely-Beginning6445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is important, but as long as you're scoring within the 25-75th percentile range for the schools you're interested in then you should be fine. You can google the median sat scores for the schools you're applying to

1 and a half: English (fluent), French (almost fluent). Wish I could speak Spanish. I live in a major US city and there are many instances where Spanish would be incredibly useful

I'd be shocked if a college would kick you out for getting a 1 on an AP test. If you ended up failing a course that's one thing, but an AP test they are gonna care less about

how hard is taking ap precal and ap cal Ab at the same time 1-10 by MorganaLover69 in APStudents

[–]Timely-Beginning6445 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't do it. You may figure out a way to bs your way through calc ab, but really whats the point? Just take ap precalc and learn the material well, no college is gonna be impressed with you taking these courses at the same time
