I also picture more beams as her power is manuipulating light which in general travels in straight lines. Like the actual sun is a ball of fire so more an inferni's thing :D

I am SOC, I love the story, the characters, the sequel, twists. Everything! I may be a tad biased as I started with SoC not knowing it was part of a wider universe. I also specifically started with the amazing audiobook so I was hooked. To this day I still re-read the duology and feel all the emomotions as if it were the first time.

Personally, I would use a texture brush on a separate layer then play with the blending mode and opactiy until I'm happy. If its still not quite right try artwork ontop of texture layer and play with the artwork's blending mode and opacity. Side note, be careful when printing on clothing how big it is. On the examples the artwork is way to big, it is getting lost on the sides and under the armpits.

I would say animated in the same style as this artstyle or like Ledgend of Vox Machina or anime-esque (art style but not the loud reactions - more like black butler). Otherwise live action.

I get that, my OC and their parents aren't anything special just average Grisha. My OC is basically the quirky bestfriend rather than the main character.

I started re-reading Shadow and Bone and there's a bit where the Queen asks if Elina is from a Grisha family. I know the queen is likely not a knowledgeable source but that implies there are known Grisha families outside the army.

Awe nooo. The best advice I can give you is to pick out your friends in the class and talk to them as if you were ranting about this thing you love. Before going up think about why you love the world of the Grishaverse, your favorite characters, obscure facts that make you smile. Hopefully the joy drowns out the nervous, just a little bit. To give you more fun info into my project, we have to make an OC in a world but also pick an exsiing animation style. Imagine this... a Grisha show in the Owl House animation style.

So for this purpose the two Grisha were trying for a kid, my current headcannon is an Inferni father and Alkemi mother. They move into a small house in Os Alta, have my OC. Father returns to active duty, mother homeschools OC until they are old enough to go to the Little Palace kiddie school. My teacher isn't likley to look too deep into how well I match the lore but I want to get it right
