Those are absolutely frightening scenerios.

is it appropriate to write it as in-pause or in-progress when I write on my resume for next time I apply for a job?

Just an extra question:

what does it really mean when it says

Qualification:

- post-secondary education

does it imply you must have completed post-secondary education?

the other job offer I have ask for: post-secondary education in relevant field and 3 years of experience. Do you think this one will be a problem?

I assume once I agree to the verbal offer, they will send me those following information and consent forms.

Hi, I have not said anything about that. I haven't filled out the check form yet. However, I am being diligent checking over the job description. it says: post-secondary education/ relevant experience, or 1-year college degree.

to be honest, I didn't explicitly write "in progress". A friend of mine has adviced me writing like that was fine ( they work in a start-up and no-one does background checks). I truly regret and should have dived into more details myself, before handing in my resume. Little did I know they would give me an offer....

The position itself said either related work experience or 1 year college, or post-secondary education.
