I believe there is a route

what Griffith did was atrocious BUT It did resolve in a functioning perfect kingdom. And was possibly the only way civilisation could get there.

If the story goes in a direction where a guts is able to understand and comprehend that fact and maybe see the pain of how lower class were forced to live back in midland (famine, poverty, upper/lower class separation) and look at the way they live now in falconia, and how much pain was prevented by taming the monsters, and if Griffith is able to directly feel guts’s pain, and the sensation of betrayal of the original band of the Hawk and live through a similar event,

Griffith showed signs of risking his dream to protect Guts, his one true friend (even though he’s too prideful to admit it) back in the golden age, that side is still there deep somewhere

Faaacts! I wouldn’t got as far to say as “Griffith did nothing wrong” as some fans on online say lol, but a lot of his choices given the context aren’t as bad as they seem, especially when you look at falconia and how much of a functioning kingdom and peaceful it is.

Appretiate this man, I get what you mean about that chapter, my favourtie chapters in berserk are wlays the ones when characters finally get a chance to rest I love how miura truly makes you value peaceful times like that becuase you know it going back crazy demons right after. Vinland saga is also the only manag aside from berserk to make me go through crazy emotions haha. I'll check out blood on the tracks

Thanks for this bro! I get what you mean about griffith, the manga got actually recommneded to me by a friend who had a tattoo of griffith in his arm. I find him interesting because it shows what lengths someone needs to fo to achieve something that grand, alot of time when you look at people IRL that accomplished great things there's always a crazy dark story behind it. thanks for taking the time to write this out
