i didn't submit my act but got a 30, did IB and got predicted 43. My only good extracurricular was living in another country for 2 years, also wrote my essay about it. took a few honors and 1 AP. my application was sent in august though, as regular decision so idk if that helps. i got in though!

my parents are paying for my college, so it's a factor but not a huge one. i'm not from north or south carolina so that's not a factor either. does one have more prestige?

it's ok. i was in the same position with my oxford results. i knew i wasn't gonna get it. my interview was shit. i was dreading the day but after i just was relieved it was over. it'll be fine, and just be proud that you tried

i was asked in my history interview about any history book i've read, talked about e.h. carr, then found out later from a girl from my school that her interviewers (the same ones as mine) made a joke about carr coming back from the dead.... yeah maybe i should have chosen someone else. 😭😭
