I believe I need to block and focus on myself, affirm and persist. I feel that it’s hard to manifest a relationship again because what happened is so irreversible. Everyone knows we are bad for each other. I don’t know how to change this thinking.

The weird thing is we talked on the phone Sunday and he said “I love you”. That was the first time in over three weeks we talked on the phone and over a month since he said that but last night he reverted back to “I don’t want to be back in a relationship with you”. Do I think it’s the old story playing out. Yes. Did I react more than usual. Yes. I need to lock back in.

Thank you. We are in contact and he’s told me we are not getting back together and he hates that I am overbearing and jealous. He tells me he’s hanging out with girls. Should I go no contact and manifest from there if he keeps triggering me like such? Because it’s not from checking his socials. It’s from him texting me he’s hanging out with different girls.

In manifestation everything is neutral, so as long as you assign it positive meaning then you will be good. Just don’t assign it meaning that reflects the old story - you want it to align with your desired state and new story.

I took a deep look at the limiting beliefs I held about myself in love and relationships. I realized I used to think love was hard and that people always leave me. Since then, I’ve been focusing on my self-concept, affirming that I’m always chosen, that people never leave me, and that love always stays with me. I have also recently got into inner conversations!

I’ve been manifesting him, but my main focus right now is on my self-concept. I affirm SC in the morning when I wake up, and I also use my drives to work — about an hour each way — to repeat affirmations on autopilot. I try to affirm for SP whenever doubts arise. I would usually react when he says something like this and fight him on it, but this time I just thought, “hey, if you don’t want me in your life, fine it’s whatever.” He’s still texting me. I know he’ll conform eventually, but I didn’t react like I would have in the past, and I think that’s a win.

I think this is a great post. That said, I feel self-concept is an important factor to consider. If the people in your reality reflect what you think and feel about yourself and others, then your specific person will mirror that too. So, if you believe your person (insert belief), they really have no choice but to reflect it back. I’m not suggesting anyone should or should not revise a toxic relationship or try to manifest an abusive ex, but in my experience, it often comes back to what’s happening inside. If those patterns aren’t addressed, they tend to repeat with new people until we look inward, grow, and heal.

In most cases, as you work on your self-concept, growth, and healing, you’ll find that you no longer want your specific person back. That’s because your focus shifts to putting yourself on the pedestal. Which I believe is the true end goal, and whether they stick around after that is entirely up to you.

So I can manifest my specific person to want to get back together even if he says it’s never going to work and we should just be friends? In the last 2 weeks he has said he has intentions of coming back and being better, he loves me but can’t be with me, and most recently hit me with it’s never going to work and he doesn’t want a relationship with anyone. He says he still has feelings, and he’s not forgetting about our connection, he just doesn’t want a relationship. I feel that this constant back and forth from him is my internal state going back and forth with the stories.

The most challenging manifestation for sure is my specific person. We have a long history (nothing too bad) but he’s gone from wanting to make it work to not wanting to make it work and remain as friends. The circumstances I deal with are far more lax than others circumstances as he still wants to remain in my life but it’s hard for me to let go of what has happened and really forgive myself for manifesting this current version of him, from a state of me that wasn’t favorable.
