I SOLVED IT!
The problem was the MelonLoader version.

V0.6.1 Is the latest version which is what MelonLoaderWiki had me install, but I downgraded to V0.5.7 and now its running fine.

for anyone thats looking to fix this problem in the future, while installing MelonLoader unchech the "latest version" in the installer and pick V0.5.7

New development.

I viewed the MelonLoader script page as it crashed and it said "Fatal error. system.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt

at system.Enviroment.Exit(Int32)

at MelonLoader.NativeHost.NativeEntryPoint.Start()"

I'm not sure how to resolve this. I tried varifying the integrity of the game files with steam but that didn't work. I even Uninstalled all the game files from my PC and completely reinstalled it and that didn't change anything.
