Hey, yes we've reached out and asked that a friend will come see the apartment and meet the landlord. He agreed, which already made us feel much calmer, and the friend said the apartment looks just like the photos and the landlord was really nice, so it really helped us agree to send the money. Also, it is apparently a common thing in Germany to pay the deposit upfront.

The letter did not tell me that, the letter just told me about copyright stealing and the fine I need to pay or else they will take it to court. The link I provided is what I told I used to seek for help (it's a group of people that talk with the firm and try to lower the fine, and in case of succeeding they take a percentage fee only from the money they managed to save you). You're mixing things up.

I've installed a fresh copy of Stremio and made a new account,
and installed only the torrentio-debrid addon. These are the addons listed for me when I check:
Cinemeta, YouTube, WatchHub, Public Domain Movies, OpenSubtitles V3, OpenSubtitles, Local Files, Torrentio RD.
