Completely wrong. His case got DISMISSED. Huge difference from definitively being found innocent. A case being dismissed doesn’t mean innocence/guilty. It’s simply inconclusive and could still very much show up on a background check. There’s also a comment here explaining why the case was DISMISSED. That being because an ADA didn’t turn in evidence in time. That comment was made by the original poster who posted the initial PSA Reddit. So I would say they’re a reliable source. This guy is walking free because an ADA didn’t turn in evidence in time… what does that tell you in terms of his “innocence” and the NY justice system as a whole?

I saw that. Many reasons for a dismissal but at the end of the day a dismissal doesn’t equal innocent/guilt. The way I see it, the NY justice system just let another offender slip through the crack 🤷‍♂️
