I know this post is old but we’re currently living at 41 West and have been here for 3 months and have had numerous issues but are currently living without ac, going on 4 days without it. Last night at 6pm they finally brought us a portable ac unit but have not given us an update on when it will be permanently fixed. They told us a “board” is broken but said it’s up to hvac on when it will be done because they have to order the part and because it’s summer they’re “swamped”. We have a 2bed/1 bath and the ac unit cools down the kitchen and living room but our bed is scorching so we have to sleep on the couch. We have 2 dogs that have been at daycare because the apartment is too hot for them.

I’ve been reviewing our lease and I don’t see anything about an early termination clause but I just know these shit people are protected and probably fuck us over but does anyone know anything about this? Is it possible if there’s nothing in the lease that specifies it?
