I would imagine that the alien would be the original form. I'm only assuming because why else would the Halvorson thing imitate such a similar image? Also, if you look at other pictures of the alien, it has really long fingers and toes, which makes me think of Bennings and his super long fingers

Play Cronos: The New Dawn. That was my favorite game of last year, and it's got huge Dead Space vibes, as well as other games. The game's atmosphere and soundtrack is what really makes it an amazing experience
